Yep. I don't want any asteriks or 'easy road' nonsense. I want to crush our enemies, see them driven before us, and hear the lamentation of their women.
There's no such thing as a Tourney Champ with an asterisk (cough...maybe NC State...barf) But I like the Full Conan Idea
Jarace is an absolute specimen. Not sure who goes above him outside of the obvious top 4. Mark picked an amazing day to have the best game of his career. Those middies were just dagger after dagger. Coogs appear to have shown up and now Sasser and Shead have another week to get healthy. Bring on Indiana or Miami.
Jarace will be a better pro than he is now its scary that he doesn't jack up dumb shots with the pressure of being a lottery pick before he even stepped foot on campus. Mark always does this you forget about him and then on the biggest stage he comes up huge. He was balling against Bama and when he fouled out it changed the entire game when we lost to Bama. I think blocks wasn't as official stat in college ball when Hakeem and Elvin played or that record would be out of reach. We don't usually turn the ball over much and had 10 in the first half in the first round thats why the game was a lot closer than it should have been for 25 mins. The toughness to play hurt by Shead and Sasser is just amazing. I remember last year the day they announced Sasser and Mark were out the rest of the year Shead has injured his ankle and they said he could be out a while too. He played the next game and never missed any time. He is just a leader for this team.
41-31 at halftime One team finishes with 80+ and the other doesn't crack 70..... that worked out well Auburns FTs killed themselves and Houston is so active inside on the boards and blocking shots Sasser and Shead have time to heal before next weekend Coogs!!
Chris Baldwin on Twitter: "Auburn coach Bruce Pearl on Houston W: "I kinda wish it was a 20 minute game instead of a 40 minute game.. I don't think our guys were as prepared for how aggressive they would be. I'm sure Kelvin jumped all over them at halftime.. We were dominated in the 2nd half on both ends."" / Twitter Nobody is prepared for it, especially when you've never played against this program
Nobody expects the Sampson Inquisition. Our main weapons are surprise. Surprise and defense...and rebounding. Our THREE weapons are...
Doesn’t really matter. But Indiana is a better story since it’s sampsons old stomping grounds. Pretty fitting that program would be a roadblock on their way back home to Houston
