Rockets has better talent than Pelicans. Hope management does not tank. If we beat them again, they are done for the next two seasons. Demoralizing the spoiled Zion&Jonas is priceless.

LOl I am old enough to remember when the tank lovers and allstar worshippers told me this is the year when the star loaded Pelicans finally come into their own, make a deep playoffs run and perhaps win it all!
they also said, see it pays off to tank to get your hands on all those coveted allstars

A split with the team is a good weekend and a confidence builder going into next season.

They have the Lakers pick swap and there own pick both of which will probably be lottery, so there is a possibility they land a big time rookie.

They land "big time rookie" for a long time. All futile attempts.

Nola has a swap option with the Lakers.

At this point they are not swapping because the Pels have the higher pick and slightly worse record.
Nothing is happening so to speak.

It could all change as those two are fighting for the same play in spot.

How many more games would they have to win in order for us to want Silas to stay? Would a play-in appearance help?

    @Os Trigonum @coachbadlee

my Tdlr (i don't really care about the grammar, so don't b too triggered by it)

    Above average Net rating

    top 15 defense/offense the past 8 games

    Best line-up
Best line up: Sengun, KPJ, Green, Tari, KMJ (11 mins played, Net rating +50)
Best 4 man line up: Sengun, KPJ, Green, Tari (22 mins played, Net rating: +57)
Triggering for kpj stans Best 3 man lineup; Sengun, Tari, Green (57 mins, + 38.7)
Best 2 man lineup: Tari, Sengun (126 mins played, +24)

    Everybody is contributing

Key guys that contributed the most according to this tuber
    1. Tate: effort, defacto pg when kpj was out
    2. Martin: 3 pts weakness limits his mins, sets pace, great rotational player on defense, solid offense, good pnr with sengun
    3. Kevin porter Jr.: He's scoring less, but he's putting more effort on being a pg, top 20 in ass/to ratio for guard. Injury what might made him rely on passing the ball instead relying on heroball. Lower usage and increased efficiency is ideal. Starting pg is not guaranteed, he will have to contest it
    4. Sengun: Defense has been really really good, consistent, even with bad games, he still contributes, PnR defense has improved (team effort is there to help)
    5. Green: Takes bulk of the shot (isn't shooting great), Driving to the basket is elite/one of the best to getting fouls drawn, calling card is scoring buckets, needs to get stronger/bulkier, isn't great at passing it out when driving (next step to becoming a superstar is being able to pass out while driving, one of the best defender in the late stage of the game (putting in a lot more effort)
    6. Smith: He has become a good player, no longer the worst player on the team, he is playing alot better after the All-star break. Shouldn't b type casted as a 3 pt sniper that's lazy analysis, he could b a sniper anywhere. His 3 pt prowess is icing on the cake, but his superstar potential is shooting it over folks anywhere. His shot diet is pretty evenly distributed.
    7. Tari: he's a winner, he's doing everything. Anytime the man is on the court, the rockets is doing good. Grit/grind/effort is his calling card. Analytics darling. No plays are drawn for him, everything that he's putting up is pure effort. A real coach would do better in utilizing him.

Al-p and Tari. Al-p doing the little things on offense is how Tari is doing the little things on defense. They complement each other extremely well. They both are playing winning basketball.

We have been great in the fourth quarter
    Defense rating: #2
    Offense rating: #27
    net rating: #4

Rockets 8 game clamp team (best defenders in the fourth)
    1. Jalen (scorer, shot chucker, but defensive king)
    2. Smith
    3. Tari
    4. Sengun
    5. Tate

    Tanking?
Good players are now getting more mins while the bad players are getting less, Silas is now giving mins to the good players. Nix, tyty mins are down
We can still tank for dead last if we want to. These games are good for the team, team building experience

Anti-Silas. His system blows, his 3 year tenure has done more bad in the coaching side than positive. He has grown as a coach, but he isn't the guy to make us a contender.

Upgrade system, hold guys accountable, grab vets, play-in is achievable. Talent is there, need a coach to unlock them.

Dam if this guy is a poster on here, I would actually enjoy interacting with him.

Surprisingly as folks rag on the players they dislike, this guy is debunking the takes. Sengun/green is doing better on defense, kpj is doing better as a pg.
