Says a guy no one pays a penny for their evaluations about a guy who makes his living doing so. Talk about LMAO

IF Carolina chooses Young and we decide to go with Stroud and at the 12th pick, Johnson WR, Van Ness ED, Porter CB and Smith-Njigba WR are on the board, would you go for Smith-Njigba WR to give Stroud a familiar target? Do you keep Cooks , despite his outspoken desire to be traded and use 12 for ED or CB? Do you choose Johnson as the highest rated choice regardless? Do you go for Skoronski or Robinson though all of the above are rated higher?

I kind of wish we had 12-18 instead of just 12.

It's not the field I chose to into.

BTw, why are you trying to make this personal? I think Young/Tua have very similar skill sets. You obviously don't. I'm just trying to figure out what you think makes them really different. I'm sorry if you are taking this personally. That wasn't my intent.

Also I would have to most likely take a pay cut to have McShay's job. Although I imagine it would be a fun job to have.

Brady wasn’t Brady when he entered the league either. He spent time developing behind a pro bowl QB and a HOF Coach which sped up his development.

Tua couldn’t make it through the SEC schedule so he was always a long shot to stay healthy in the NFL. Not the case with Young. But at the end of the day ALL PLAYERS COULD GET INJURED. It’s the. NFL!

Well they are not going to use terms like "ok player" or "2nd tier QB" before they're drafted. They tend to start using them after a couple of seasons of play. Now I have heard them continuously compare him to Tua and Murray mainly because of the size, which I will admit isn't completely fair. But other than the shortage of a few inches in height, the resemblance is there.

Not personal at all. It’s just funny about any topic when message board posters pretend they know more than people that are considered experts in their field.

You trade down and get an extra 3rd rounder.

Brady was winning championships by year two or three. Leading his team to GW FG's.

Patriots defense carried him vs rams. He was very average in that 2001 SB. He’s the goat now but he didn’t just rip the league up from day 1.

McShay has a pretty spotty track record.

I respect Bruglers opinions. He's been very solid.

Even though we disagree on Young, I enjoy talking ball with you.

At the end of the day, we both want what’s best for the Texans.

I'll modify this slightly because I believe... we all want what's best for the Texans. We're passionate about the team and this sport, which sometimes can lead us to getting carried away, but what @Hawkeye84 said above is the truth and a good reminder we can disagree on the approach or the method, but we all have the same target in our scope.

That’s two or three years of watching film & being tutored by a HOF coach & one of the greatest football minds ever.

I trust betting lines more than any sports journalist. Stroud going #1, so all of y'all can look forward to Young going #2.
