That was ALL before they changed the rules and capped the picks. Also most of those teams largely built via trades and free agents. Yes they were fortunate and quite lucky to find a player to build around. We have several of those but yet sit here with a totally wrecked franchise.
If I was his manager, I would have him make anti-houston statements (exmp. trash talkin about houston on social media ) to avoid being elected by Houston. houston rockets f.o. , owner , coach , some dumb fans dont deserve this kind of young talent they will hinder his potential , fck his career
Camp & Combine will really shake things up, I think. The high-floor, low-ceiling, not-as-athletic guys are going to fall, the athletic, long, strong guys are going to rise up.
How more fluid is Wemby compared to say young Andrea Bargnani? I feel like Bargnani would have been a lot better in today's game, and not asked to bulk up as much to maintain some of his athelticism.
I know forum posters aren't the brightest bunch, but not knowing how lottery odds work in regard to the first overall pick gets frustrating to read.
How nice of u too assume that forum posters aren't the brightest bunch. Well I prefer that we get capped at the probability of pick1-5, it lessens the sting if we whiff on wemby and Scott. Potentially getting a 7th pick after this sht season is a bummer. Being the third worst opens the possibity of getting a 7th pick.
There are two different things about the odds. 1. For the odds of picking #1 (Wemby sweepstake) the odds are the same for the bottom 3 teams at 14%. Same with picks #2 - #4. So it makes no difference as long as we end up one of the bottom 3. 14% isn't very good. 27.4% for picking 1 or 2 (Wemby or Scoot) is a bit better. 2. The actually position of records does make a difference for picks under #4. If we finish as the worst team, we are guaranteed top 5. So if you care about what pick we get if we don't get the top 2, then finishing as low as possible is the way to go.
I'm in the same boat. Imagine how painful it would be if we end up with the 7th pick AND we keep Silas because of our winning streak. Please No.
