I’m pro tank but let’s be honest Stone already traded away Gordon and Bruno and Garry Bird so that only the young guys could play.

Maybe he should have traded Boban as well. :D

Overheard in Pelicans locker room after their loss tonight: “He got me,” Zion said of Jabari Smith Jr.'s game-winning shot. "That f***ing Smith boomed me." Zion added, “He’s so good,” repeating it four times. He then said he wanted to add Smith to the list of players he works out with this summer.

Because there's no possible benefit to losing this year?
Because there was no motive to have a bottom tier record these three seasons?
Because we've all seen teams that sat a vet a whole season to give the reins to a makeshift replacement?
Because we've seen dozens of times where an NBA team fields a rotation almost exclusively comprised of rookies and sophomores?
Because General Manager Rafael Stone didn't publicly lay out the plan for the rebuild after the Harden trade and adhere to it ever since?

    Yep, all coincidence.

If what Jabari said was true and he could only gain confidence by working out with his dad, doesn't that imply the coaching staff is incompetent....

You as a young player have to seek out other methods to calm yourself down?

Those are just the tip of the iceberg.

Nope, Boban was kept for the In bound Defense only.

It’s okay….these wins will build character and they see how to win tough stressful games. Now it’s time to give some of the guys a good amount of rest. We need a loosing streak of 4-5

Rockets are definitely turning the corner! I would love to see Sengun continue to take the wide open 3! That will open up everything. And I want Green to start driving to the basket with a purpose....make the Refs call a foul.

The team as a whole played great defense in the 4th Qtr. Sengun frustrated JV, KPJ with the Sam Casell BIG BALLS shot, Green with the dagger in the corner and Smith with "GIVE ME THE BALL" Game winner.....what a HELLUVA GAME

Exactly. All of Silas's good moves came essentially forced, he did not opt into them. The team plays now better essentially due to Gordon leaving and forcing silas to give Tari and KMJ more time, particularly with the starting five, getting rid of the Jabari-sengun-kpj-green-gordon all time bad defensive line up. He could have used more balanced line-ups all season long. The only extra factor is Jabari playing better. On the other hand Sengun is not as good as before.

    I like Kaminsky's enthusiasm/joy. It seems genuine.

Not good Alp's points/rebs numbers were OK, but his assist number was dramatically low. Hope he asissts more and more.

I know that it is irrelevant to this particular moment but I got so excited that I would like to share it with you guys: I have a valid US visa until April 2024. I've been checking out plane tickets for some time now and it looks like I can find a round ticket for around 500 $ if I would buy 2 months in advance.
I am seriously thinking about saving up some money and coming around November or December.
    Cross your fingers for me.
PS: It would be my first time in Houston. And NASA museum... I will sleep so good tonight

It's a little concerning how easily JV shut Sengun down. He was really struggling in the post. Hopefully he'll adjust and work on finishing the other direction in the offseason, because if he's not scoring in the post he's just a negative out there.

This is so true. KJ also worked out away from the team this summer and look how well he is playing now..
