Black women. I would say white women have had it better than Black men in America. Unless you think being a suburban housewife is a worse outcome than being a poor black male in a overpoliced neighborhood especially before the modern civil rights movement, or being the lady of the Plantation vs being a male black slave field worker. Yes those women had limited agency in their options in what they wanted to do in life but they lived more comfortable lives with less struggle.

An argument against reparations due to not being pragmatic I get. But an argument against it using right wing talking points about everyone being victims before is not something I would expect.
I think women in general. Black men could vote before women, get loans before women and there has been a black President before a woman President. Women have far higher rates of rape, in fact there was no such thing as marital rape in many states in my lifetime. Women also faced high rates of domestic violence, were disproportionately under represented in government. Women have to live in a patriarchy, have a very high portion of child rearing responsibilities, Women are still forced into sex slavery. Almost all medical research is for treating men and not women, and there is little if any consideration for how medication impacts women. Even simple things like car safety is based on protecting men and not women, the size used is those of typical men. There are many many more examples as well. Women in many cases do not have autonomy of their own bodies. I think a conversation about reparations is certain appropriate but I don’t agree with the mechanisms proposed, and oppression isn’t limited to a particular group and it makes the discussions problematic. Also, pointing out that women have been systematically oppressed and still are in many ways isn’t a Republican talking point and in most cases Republicans have been less responsive to the needs or concerns of women than Democrats.
Nah. Maybe try to walk the street of a suburban neighborhood as a black man vs a white woman. The feeling of always being seen as a violent animal the moment you step outside your lane like engaging in conversation with a white woman in the South during the 1930s is something uniquely experienced by Black males. Being hanged or lynched by a mob for just looking the wrong way towards the general direction of a white woman is something uniquely experienced by Black men.
Ditto? Have Black males ever owned white women legally? https://news.berkeley.edu/2019/10/25/white-women-slaveholders-q-a/ I'll never call a group of humans were enslaved by another group of humans as the group that experienced less injustice and systemic trauma
I don’t need reparations…my life is good what I do need tho is for this country to acknowledge the wrong that was done to black people in this country I don’t think black people don’t need reparations, they need to be treated equally and fairly…they need this country to stop doing everything within its power to keep black people at the bottom but saying that would have dumb mouth breather MFers saying I’m “woke” Why are black family homes getting significantly lower valuations? Why are black people consistently denied loans? Why is it harder to get a job if u have a black sounding name? Why are black people imprisoned more often and more harshly for the same crime a white person would do? I can go on and on and people always talk about slavery as if Jim Crow, lynchings, massacres, sun down towns, massive discrimination, and much more didn’t occur long after to keep black people down the Voting Rights Act wasn’t even 60 years ago
I never said women were more oppressed historically than African Americans..... nor have I said that about Native Americans from a historical perspective. What I have said is women are arguably the most oppressed group and their oppression has had the largest impact, as they make up half the world. The level of oppression that women deal with now is far higher than you appreciate, but it is hard for me to say that women in the USA are more oppressed than Native Americans or African Americans have been at different points in history - I do think they are in the conversation though - and there is lies the issue with reparations - there are a number of groups that have been and in many cases still are oppressed.
@rocketsjudoka There was no slavery in California Wasn’t the wronged minority the ones brought overseas to build the railroads? @basso also nobody has answered the question if draymond would get an extra 5 million and does Klay count ?
Jews were enslaved by another group of humans, where do they fit on your persecution totem pole? Why is it so important for you to make this a competition?
Definitely some of the most persecuted most scapegoated group of people in modern history since even before the French revolution.
Your people naturalized yet? It's all good if they aren't yet. Being an illegal immigrant does have it's perks though as you are here trolling. Nothing like being a native born Texas...
