If Taysom Hill is his upside then he’s a bust

I'll take neither one for $1000 Alex!

What was that rule Daryl Morey had with his staff/scouts?
You couldn't make a pro comparison of a player within the same ethnicity.

    We may need that here!
With a height addendum added in.

Kyler and Bryce have very little in common other than height and color.

Was just going to post this.
If you're spending a top 5 pick and come out with Taysom Hill that's a bust!

And Joe Burrow was a consensus No.1 pick.
Whether he was generational is splitting hairs imo.
He had MOST everything you would want.
    Brains, accuracy, mobility, and leadership.
He just didn't have a cannon for an arm!

Which I think is overrated in and of itself.

What if you use a #2 pick on a Michael Vick type of QB? Because that's how I see Richardson. A big Vick.

Not what you said. You said these other QBs were giants compared to Young which is completely untrue. Wilson weighed exactly the same as Young and was one half inch taller. Wilson took the Seahawks to the SB so I would be ok with that.

You might as well get a new dream. The Texans aren’t taking Richardson

Wilson took Seattle to two straight Super Bowls, winning one. What is this guy talking about?

"As a max money guy" is an odd qualifier. I get what he's going for, but two Super Bowls will get you paid.

Yeah, arguing size and then throwing money in as some caveat seems fairly disingenuous to me.

Is Bryce Young built like this? Russ is built like a tank to withstand the punishment.

Yup. If a team was willing to sacrifice Richardson to the football Gods they could literally RPO him deep into the playoffs for 4-5 years before he breaks.

Honestly not sure I’d take Carter at 12. This is a huge red flag.

A nose tackle at 323 is a huge red flag? An exonerated Carter at 12 would be the steal of the century. I think he goes 5-7 range personally. The only reason he is not a top 2 pick is because of all the QB hungry teams and the dumbassery of racing against a drunken friend. If he doesn’t go to jail then none of this will affect him on the field.

I would take him in a heartbeat. He's not going to get past Vegas or Atlanta so there's nothing to worry about.

He's not going to jail. He was only charged with 2 misdemeanors.

Gaining 9 lbs in 2 weeks is IMO. Especially when you couple it with character concerns and the fact that his best attribute is raw athleticism. Like you said, he should be a top pick so interesting to see him not do whatever he can to climb back up the board.
