Yeah but Jabari won't be gone and he'll still be telling coaches to take his ass out... and Jabari has a lot more pull within the organization than Sengun does.
Theoretically it will take 4 or 5 years Jabari gets stronger when already All-Star, soughtafter Alp would be in max contract. It is nice to see Jabari's confidence and hope he fulfils his promises. It is more about his own progress rather than challenging Alp's starting slot Go ahead Bari, we want you to get stronger to play center. Deal. Don't forget, deal is a deal.
A smart coach would stagger smith mins in the different position instead of making him a full time center just to displace sengun. Smith is not ready to b a full time center with his body My only worry is that Smith desire to play center will make back up center garuba get even less mins.
We need to get to a place developmentally where any of Sengun/Jabari/Garuba can be in the floor together, and I see that as being pretty achievable if prioritized. Mainly just need Sengun to improve defensively and for Garuba and Sengun to provide better perimeter spacing, and they're getting there slowly but surely.
What you’re looking for is Cason Wallace Victor W Tari Eason and Jabari Smith. That is nasty gross repulsive for opposing offenses
Versatility is a great thing. There are some match ups that will suit Smith at centre over Sengun and some that suit Sengun over Smith.
I would prefer him trying to fill the KD role - so a combo forward that can also play center. His strength is away from the basket and his strength is he is taller than most of the people that are guarding him, so he can just shoot over them. And on defense his defense seems to be better on the wing than defending his man on the low block. So a center in the Giannis, KD sense - sure. A center in the Jokic/Embiid sense - not so much.
The NBA loves arrogance. The bigger you talk up your game the more they'll pay attention to you. It's like wrestling.
Sengun has always struck me as a 4 not a 5. He's an old school low post banger. That's a 4. Jabari has the biggest advantage shooting over smaller 3's from the perimeter. He can't hang with most of the centers in the league. He's too slight. That's why we need Wembanyama. Get back to Big Ball. SF - Smith 6'11 PF - Sengun 6'10 ..C - Wemby 7'4 Now that's a big front court!
Anyone who shoots .41/.33 and is your main scorer I'm passing on. If he can't get his averages way up next year they need to move on. Kid is the anti-Curry right now. Curry may be a rare find but there are a lot more shooting guards who have started their careers much closer to Curry's number than Green's. Rockets can do better there.
jabs and senjoon need to be traded tbh. can't have them improving and ruining our decade-long tank plan.
Really? Name some, ideally some who are also asked to be the primary scorer (and therefore must take more “bailout” shots).
I don't need your help. Your fix is as hopeless as your posts. Help yourself first before involving others.
