That video was played ad nauseam after the Capitol riots. That guy seems pretty mentally unstable, he has had some issues in the past. He is proof that elected officials and others need to be careful with the rhetoric they use, because some people either are not terribly bright or they have mental issues and are easily influenced....
Honestly......... listen to Kenny Rogers on this one. You got to know when to fold them. This threat is rapidly approaching the Durham investigation thread. The Democrats screw things up, some are corrupt even - but you aren't going to get anywhere on January 6th of this thread.
when it comes to defending the january 6th insurrectionists and trying to excuse what they did you are certainly an "island in the stream". i dont even think you really believe what youre saying...i think youre just such a partisan that youre always going to side with your "team". you think condemning the january 6th insurrectionists is a "win" for your political enemies so you cant bring yourself to do it. i think thats the case with many republicans. two years later and its still bizarre to see others defending the january 6th insurrection in any way. people like basso are the reason it will probably happen again.

Yes it’s disturbing to see the lengths many have gone to paint this as something it wasn’t because of ideology. This attitude that I have to take the opposite viewpoint of those I consider my ideological opponents is one of the biggest problems we have.

just that. my ancestors were, respectively, an immigrant who arrived in the mid-1950s, after growing up in Nazi occupied Europe, and an indentured servant who arrived in coastal Virginia in 1630. I'd say they both bootstrapped their futures.
Sounds like your ancestors weren’t forced to drink from a separate fountain during their time in America. Not sure what this has to do with a bunch of folks that were duped into believing an election lie.
