This was simply a cost saving move for Tampa. Shaq was very good last year and they weren’t going to be able to afford him. This fixes the RG spot, and all it really cost was the 1st pick in the 6th. Smart move
https://theathletic.com/4307771/2023/03/14/shaq-mason-trade-buccaneers-texans/ How does Mason stack up? The Texans should be pleased in picking up one of the more stable guards in terms of pass protection. Mason was above average last season ranking 24th among all guards and 12th among right guards with a 3.3 percent rate, via TruMedia (minimum 200 pass block snaps, the average rate is 4.3 percent). He also only surrendered one sack in 2022. Mason produced a better rate in 2021 during his last season with the Patriots with a 2.7 percent clip while only surrendering two sacks.
They should strive to get a long term answer at the center position. Not just an OK center. It would be hard for me to pass on Schmitz at 2-33.
pretty inconsistent, has a problem with the drops(see jags winning against the cowboys last year), but great in limited action. Good WR4
Oh for sure but I only see Nico Collins returning. Would like Amari Rodgers as well but not sure he’s in the plans. How many WRs are normally kept? 5? On Madden, I only keep 5 lol
