As @MadMax already pointed out, if that was the case they would’ve drafted Vince Young. You’re crafting a narrative in your head and then getting upset about the fanciful narrative that you’ve concocted. Weird deal.
Is a Flutie type career a bust? IYO Posters say I cant tell the future, I'm not the only poster this can be said about. I'm will tell if the smallest QB ever drafted in the 1st rd in NFL history can become the best QB in the NFL in his generation. Is that what you're saying Young will become?
They did draft Carr. Just because they were smart enough to not draft possibly one of the dumbest individuals to walk the face of the earth, doesn't prove what I'm saying after investing in the Texans org for the past 20 years not true.
Party on, another street level FA. Another wasted million. now up to 8 mil and counting. Soon you will begetting in the range of signing a Pocic type player that could really help your OL.
Just can’t handle all these splash signings. Getting time consuming looking these guys up to figure out who they are. Hopefully we get Edmunds, Allen and a C.
Not really Jimmy G he gets injured to much, but a vet QB to play next year and backup the drafted QB in 2024.
This automatically took the McNair's out of the Jimmy G market. I like Jimmy G as much as anybody on this MB and I wouldn't have given him this deal. I hope Jimmy G can stay healthy, He will do well in Vegas.
Get a really good FA center and a good defensive player in FA and I will be satisfied. I will hate it if we just do a bunch more 1 year contracts for journeymen. I don’t know enough about the guys we’ve signed other than Keenum to care, but please, please get a good center.
Young is a splash, even if I think he's going to be Flutie. Going for the splash is exactly what they're doing. The Watt pick, what other pick? Maybe they could've learned from this. I'm so glad I'm out financially on the Texans org. They're setting this up for another decade of disappointment.
