If we did all these trades, we should sign Lamar Jackson instead of Garrapalo. I don't want to watch Jimmy G even if it's for a year. As he will make us just good enough to not get a high enough draft pick. Giving up 2 firsts would be nothing since we would have 5.
Not a bad price if we aren’t drafting a QB 1.2. Trade back and get AR if available and sign Garrapolo to no more than 2 years if possible.
Sure if Orlando Brown is walking thru the door. There aren’t many guys even close to Tunsil after that. If we trade Tunsil for draft picks what does it do to cap space?
Hopefully so the Texans can get a haul for 1.2 and continue to build the trenches and defense or just draft Anderson 1.2.
Our OL was terrible after Duane Brown left until BOB overpaid for Tunsil. Be thankful we have one of the top LT who actually wants to be here and stop trying to trade him! There are a plethora of needs on this team and OT is basically the only strength. Why would you want to create another thing you need to fix? It’s not like we don’t have cap space.
He wants the largest contract for an OL in history and he is not a great run blocker. Orlando Brown will be expensive as well, but he is younger, about as good and you can get a pretty good haul for Tunsil. Even if can get someone in the top 15 at the position and get a haul of draft picks, its worth the gamble.
After Nick chose Stingley over Sauce and Green over a bunch of better players I don’t trust giving him more picks over a proven commodity.
I realize that. If you get the 15th best tackle or a really good rt and move Howard to LT and get a couple of 1st round picks and maybe more for Tunsil you are making the entire team better. It all depends on who the Texans are able to sign and what another team is willing to give up for Tunsil. I also would not trade Cooks for anything less than a 3rd. He is still a really good WR.
