Yes KPJ has to go. If Stone doesn’t realize this then he needs to go as well.

 

Although the on court results of not being involved with your teammates on the play is the same. Even the biggest stars in the league have not gotten back on defense or something after complaining about something. It’s not a good look either, but there’s a pretty big difference between a guy complaining mid play about a missed call or missed assignment and a guy pouting near mid court because he didn’t get to initiate the offense on that possession.

Especially when one of those guys has a documented history of on and off court character issues.

 

I do want to know where the folks who got mad at the pundits such as Zach Lowe, etc, when they said just to cut KPJ.

 

It's rather obvious that we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg here.

If the guy behaves like that with tons of cameras pointed at him, just imagine how he behaves when there are no cameras.

Likewise. I think the issue is he really believes that he's a superstar. He probably did appreciate the Rockets at the time but only because it was the only thing keeping him in the NBA. That money he got will be long gone within two years of him being out of the league. He won't survive overseas because they won't put up with his garbage. Lol...this is what happens when you give $85 mil to a guy that quits on your team at halftime.

The same goofy front office is trying to give $150+ mil in the offseason to another guy that quit on them.

KpJ can be a D'Angelo comp. Give him 2 years.

 

i'll appreciate him for when he gave us some hope in 2021. his ISO ball was a repreive when there was no one better to pass too. now we have actual talent on the roster and KPJ won't maximize their strengths. doesn't help we will add another 1-3 first round picks next year to the mix.

my theory is this yet another one of those Stone trade value reclaimation projects where he thinks he will build more value than there actually is. wall, oladipo, wood, gordon, now KPJ... comon stone just learn cut bait my guy.

I was hoping the light would come on for him, but it doesn’t look like he will grow up fast enough for the team. If we lose out on Wemby, I am all in on Henderson or Amen learning under Harden or whatever veteran PG they bring in.
