You know how I know the guy is crazy/obsessed enough to make Twitter profitable?

Elon Musk's biggest problem is Elon Musk. Doesn't matter how much he's worth, how he managed to acquire his wealth, or what he's managed to accomplish while doing it. The man is a pure, unadulterated *******. He's living proof that you can accomplish a lot while being a borderline psychopath, and he is. I don't respect the fellow. I once did, but haven't one bit of respect for him now. The man has shown his true colors. Shades of black.

Musk bought at the exact wrong time. Really, a large part of it is just very bad timing. But then, he fked up Twitter. He hasn't made any good decisions at all. It's amazing to watch and learn what not to do when you acquire a social media platform. Maybe he will do better this year, but I doubt it. He should step down and appoint a new CEO (like he said he would) to turn around the company.

 

His entire business model will collapse. Removing verified check marks will destroy the website. If enterprises don't pay it'll collapse quickly.

 

It's not surprising that reputable reporters and news organizations don't care for a mark that doesn't verify their handle.

 

Nothing lasts forever. Twitter and Meta will go the way of Yahoo and AOL: Tech zombies.
