Maybe not. I wouldn’t mind him sitting tomorrow in the finals. They don’t need him to win the conference tourney. Just rest as much as possible til Thursday/Friday all speculating though. If sasser says he’s good, he’ll play
Full-health though? Soft tissue doesn't heal fast at all even when you think it's healed He has youth on his side though true
No idea. Probably get a better idea if he actually comes out the 2nd half and or sits out tomorrow. We’ll see how severe it is. Regardless UH knows how to play without him to survive this weekend.
Kelvin Sampson buys groceries at HEB on 288 @ McGregor. That store is awesome with UH and TSU coeds. K Rino f*cks with it too
You don’t have to tell me twice and I didn’t even go to college but I love Houston basketball Go Coogs!
Well sitting tomorrow is the wise move. If he feels good tomorrow and isn't limited then I'm ok with it. But he better not even be sore which is HIGHLY unlikely. Kick Memphis or Tulane with the rookies and Shead.
Really unfortunate about Sasser, but this team has a boatload of talent. He sits tomorrow, and we will see who steps up.
No reason Sasser should play tomorrow. We are set to start the tournament as a #1 seed. Just not #1 overall. That's a discussion that has been beaten to death and is what it is. The boatload of talent decided to show up today. When Sasser left we were up by 5. We finished going away winning by 21. Glad to see Roberts and Walker back to themselves. Even Mark had a few good moments. Shead, our most important player was key and kept things going after our best player left with his injury. Assuming Sasser fully recovers from this quad shift or groin strain or whatever it is, his injury may be a blessing in disguise for us. Gave others and our bench a chance to step us and get some important playing time against a quality opponent. We took a team that is used to scoring in the 80's and 90's and held them below 50. Tomorrow's game will be the last game our basketball team will play as part of the AAC. As much as it would be nice to spank either Tulane or Memphis on the way out, our path is set. Even if we win, and both Alabama and Kansas lose in their tournaments, we are set IMO as 3rd #1 seed. The way we play we can beat anybody. Just need to stay alive until the tournament gets back to Houston. That's when things could get very interesting.
