Those "kids" will be federal judges and prosecutors soon enough. God help anyone in their crosshairs https://freebeacon.com/campus/dogsh...-the-stanford-dean-who-joined-the-protesters/
Duncan warned that what happens at Stanford, long the second-ranked law school in the country, behind Yale, is unlikely to stay there. "If enough of these kids get into the legal profession," he said, "the rule of law will descend into barbarism." that's pretty much the issue
these students have no respect for rules--which makes it likely they will have less respect for the law than they should think of the Molotov-cocktail-throwing lawyers in the NYC riots
George Lincoln Rockwell fought the same fight you are fighting about free speech. The father of modern free speech activists.
Stanford rules prohibit disrupting speaking events, but there appears to be zero enforcement or consequence. They relent to the mob.
Dogs and Cats will start living together!!!! Oh my stars!!!!! Respect for the rules...... like how your side tried to change the results of the presidential election via the "rules"?
Judges are probably wealthier and they are the Pinnacle of the phrase "demand respect, not earn respect". Same with law enforcement. Two professions that epitomize that phrase. Cops and judges are peak "entitlement of respect" if you want to b**** about entitlement.
You can't be criminally prosecuted for employing the heckler's veto (it might be considered disturbing the peace), but you can certainly be removed/suspended from school for failing to uphold standards of decency. We can at least agree it is a despicable act employed by the worst sorts of people, who would deny others the ability to hear a speaker they came to listen to, robbing them of their limited time.
