Yep. This works in the Texans favor. Stroud is practically a lock for number 1, but I don't think Houston wanted him anyway. I guess I could see Carolina taking Richardson, but that would be a steep price to pay and one hell of a jump for him to go 1.
So Anthony Richardson to Carolina. Guess who the Bears are going to pick at #9. Yep you guessed right! JSN!
Remember I said Young screwed himself by not participating in the combine? Here it goes. Now I have him going #4 to Indie. Texans will take Stroud.
It’s Richardson aka Cam Newton 2.0 It’s Young It’s actually Stroud I do know they didn’t trade up for: Will Levis.
With D.J. Moore, Darnell Mooney, and Cole Kmet? They have bigger needs and I’d assume they’ll draft elsewhere

I see you got caught by the double post, lol. I'm just saying Justin Fields has been talking up a storm about his old college reciever over the past couple of weeks.
Carolina could take anyone but the timing of this trade seems to indicate Stroud or Richardson. They both put on a show just a week ago and Bryce did not participate. Were the Panthers scared that the price for the top pick was going to increase as more teams watched tape on these guys? They know the #2 pick was not available. I want Bryce so maybe just my bias filtering in.
Just watched Schefter on ESPN and he said the owner loves Bryce while the coach loves Stroud. He said an exec in the organization told him they have 48 days to decide which one. Could be a smoke screen or could be the truth.
I'm glad CAR made this trade for the following reasons... #1 - Keeps us ahead of IND in the arms race. #2 - We'll still either get our 1st or 2nd QB choice or we could take Will Anderson. #3 - Speculation and posturing are over for who has #1 pick, Bears could have played this up until day of the draft. In any case, I'm glad this has happened and now Vegas can play the odds to make money on who goes #1.
I was in the Bryce or nothing camp, but CJ and AR both have really made it easier for me to swallow winning that last game and yeah, i've even come around on WL. It'll be a dangerous game to play with Indy a few spots behind us. We've got to face whoever we pass on every year and they're a historically rich QB franchise, but if CJ and BY are off the board, do they want a gunner like WL or a project like AR? They don't seem like Colts type of QB's. Maybe if faced with that decision, they wait until next years class for a QB? As a franchise in desperate need of energy/showtime/prestige, i think we can swing for the fences on a guys like AR and WL and people would understand, but you have to prepare for short term success of BY or CJ on the Colts while AR or WL develop and we look like the same old bad franchise. Most mock draft updates look like Bryce going #1.
And of course i just realized even the t*** can trade into Arizona's spot. Man this division going to be an all out QB rivalry.
