Yeah just recently not in whole january when he was point center. Jesus man take some omega-3 you have the memory of a 90 years old with Alzheimer's.

nice stats but its imho tunnel visioned and shortsighted to classify him as top 10 center
when we take into consideration the circumstances, playing for the worst team, under the worst coach and with selfish temamates, being benched, sat down when hot, not played to his strengths, constantly held back and scapegoated, realistically Sengun gotta be positioned a lot higher than that

id say at least top 3 center already...he is just more skilled( and its not even close) than almost all of the guys on the list...its not his fault his coach is a moron/tanking/hates him/wont use him in his full capacity/the right role or whatever

honestly there's nobody on that list that smart teams would rather have than sengun... perhaps embiid only

btw senguns real position aint the center at all..he is the point guard like magic johnson

surely nobody would list Magic as a center in their right minds just because he is a a tall guy...

Kind of funny that Silas was like yeah we no longer have Eric so we're not going to run any more pick an rolls for Green and Alpi.

We were running it the first quarter of the Nets game and then just went away from it.

I don't get it. It's very simple. Alpi Green pnr and DHO should be the core staple of the offense at least for now. Obviously something like a Wemby changes all that up.

I like his offensive consistency more than anything. His defense is still a problem but it's expected for Europeans especially if they 20. We don't know if he can be a above average defender. His feet are very slow but hands are active and when he actually gives a s*it he looks alright atm. Needs to get thicker he looks like a kid amongst other centers.

i like that you are consistently positive about alpi but
your not a good basketball analyst ....kinda slowbrained, slowminded...tunnelvisioned, prejudiced and brainfogged...

your mind has trouble making a sophisticated and nuanced distinctions, making quick decisions and perceptions necessary to take into account different sets of circumstances and this is why you so easily succumb to stereotypes and narratives surrounding alperen senguns defense...

I don't know if Alperen will end up being our "franchise player" (fingers crossed with Wemby, who would be very serious competition, along with Jalen, and even Bari, if he keeps playing like he did last night), but he keeps getting noticed around the league. I was scrolling through the "NBA Power Rankings" of NBC Sports and was a little surprised when I read what they said about our Rockets, who they have at #28 (really? not lower?):

    28. Rockets (15-50, LW 29). The Rockets are firmly entrenched in the bottom three teams in the league — they will have a 14% chance at landing Victor Wembanyama — so a couple of wins against the Spurs this week is not going to hurt their cause. For all the focus on Jalen Green and his impressive athleticism, Alperen Şengün looks like the guy who could be a key part of this team’s rotation in the future. Starting Saturday against the Bulls the Rockets have a six-game homestand.
