No... the two performers were what I described. What information did I withhold and what led you to believe there may have been other performers? The entertainment was billed a a drag show. The performer is a regular drag show performer. I have no personal experience or knowledge as to what his other shows may consist of. It lasted an hour or so after dinner, presentations and an auction. The actual definition of a drag show is a member of one gender dressing as aother and performing. Whether or not that is YOUR definition is meaningless.
The information that you withheld in your first post was that it was billed as a drag show. Something you said made me wonder if there were more. My bad on that point. We're talking about drag shows that are billed as kid-friendly and are attended by kids. Drag shows were always aimed at adults. That's why they usually occurred at night in night clubs. So whatever the definition is, we're only talking about the ones aimed at kids.
So then anytime a man dressed as a woman children shouldn’t see that? I guess we’ll have to cancel any showings of Mrs. Doubtfire or any performances of Tom Sawyer (Mark Twain not Rush) since in the story Tom Sawyer dresses as a girl, when children are around. So basically you can’t define then what the limits of acceptable drag should be.
Okay? Also.... "Christine"..... you come in flipping tables etc.... and see where it gets you. P.S. Jesus doesn't like you Christine
Sounds like they missed the fact that Jesus did that to the greedy who were taking advantage of people and using an area set aside for spreading God's message for their greedy behavior. Whatever was happening in that video wasn't the same thing as what enraged Christ. I would go back removing the plank from one's own eye before worrying about any splinter from someone else’s. But however they interpret it and the actions they would take has nothing to do with anything else.
That tweet is very clarifying on how unhinged these people are, if that’s what is getting them so incensed.
It depends on the show. A kid seeing a guy dressed as a lady singing isn't abuse and doesn't harm the child. Some drag shows might be, but parents have different ideas on parenting. And it would have to be beyond PG-13 stuff for it to be construed as abuse.
Ok so her objection is based entirely in religion and therefore shouldn't be the basis upon which secular civil society is legislated.
I asked in another thread, but would you call the child "demonic" to their face? Would you call Rachel Levine a "freak" to her face?
