KPJ: Can someone explain to me why he has become Clutchfans favorite whipping boy?

We are better with KPJ. The numbers show it, and so does the eye test.



If anything, Smith is a far, far bigger issue than KPJ.

 

The Rockets are better with KPJ because he has been given the green light at point guard for 2 years and they get rid of every single point guard on the roster so he doesn't feel threatened about his playing time.

We're indeed better with KPJ because clutch the bear is the next closest franchise member to be a point guard after KPJ.

 

KPJ returned, and we literally continued to get our sh*t rocked before facing the no shame whatsoever tanking Spurs

if we are better with KPJ, it’s not because he’s actually good…it’s because our other options are Nix, Jalen Green, or EG before he was traded trying to run point…that or running things through Sengun, the big that passes up every jump shot and has a turnover rate just as high as KPJ

 

Just want to see if he's understood the need for defense and making plays earlier in the clock. These are his two major obstacles.

 

KPJ has been social media bullied into entering the ball into Sengun more, which is good for everyone.

 

I mean I think our offensive rating was higher when he was out. What dropped was team defensive rating.

 

KPJ has flaws in his game, but the hate is overboard. I could understand if we traded a lot for him or his contract was an albatross, but we got him for free and his extension is incredibly team friendly with no guaranteed money beyond the first year. Considering how little we've invested I thought people would be more reasonable. We didn't even use a pick on him and have paid him $6.6M for three seasons of play. That's less than Green made last year alone. He's 22 years old. What the hell are people expecting?

A tad bit misleading due to KPJ out of the "big three" in Sengun, Green and KPJ, KPJ had the most minutes playing with the bench guys.

I believe KPJ has a role on a NBA team. He can be a great scorer of the bench. but he is not a starting guard.
