Just saw in the news Mitch McConnell is also criticizing Fox News and Tucker Carlson. This is another indication of the major divide in the Republican Party.
It also proves they're desperate to get the stink of a failed coup off their backs. At its heart, this attack was "stop the steal" manifested IRL. And STS candidates got blown out in 2022.

Then why is Tucker Carlson only releasing selected segments? If McCarthy has given him all of the video why won’t he release all of it to the general public?

Clearly, the Chief of the Capitol Police in my view correctly describes what most of us witnessed firsthand on January 6,” McConnell said of the segment.

Sure, why not? Everybody is profit driven. Except the dominion thing. Haven't followed that closely. I don't know why we can't see it all.
I am guessing that he is showing other perspectives from the incident. The Jan 6th committee didn't show these somewhat interesting angles.
