The only novel thing in this entire story is the video of the shaman with the cops and even that isn't really compelling.
This was predictable and that Tucker Carlson would selectively release video that paints things in the best light. Everything posted here is already contradicted by the vast amount of other footage showing rioters fighting with police, the Jacob Chansley ranting from the dais in the Senate, and other rioters trying to batter a door down while LEO try to hold them back and Ashli Babbitt trying to get through the opening. If Kevin McCarthy really wanted a true and accurate portrayal of what happened he should release all of the video to everyone instead of just to Tucker Carlson.
SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not so loud. Commodore, TJ and the like might get edu-ma-cated and.........actually, they'll gloss it over and treat Tucker Carlson like news.
Kevin McC during the insurrection, on the phone with Scump: "WHO THE F*** DO YOU THINK YOU'RE TALKING TO? YOU NEED TO CALL THIS S**T OFF!" Kevin McC in a speech to Congress a day or two (hours?) later: "Donald Trump bears some of the responsibility of this...." Kevin McC 2 weeks later at Mar-a-Lago: "Hello, Mister President." (un-ziiiiiiip) SLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURP! Kevin McC to get the votes he needed for Speaker: "Here you go, Tucker. Enjoy."
If you've ever served on a jury, you understand that the judge allows only a curated set of evidence to be presented to jurors that he deems germane. Even if Tucker Carlson had already published these clips of footage, who knows if it would have been allowed into the court case. Besides which, Chansley and therefore his lawyer knew he walked those halls followed by cops. Even if they couldn't have demanded the video in discovery, Chansley still could have testified about it and they could have the cops testify as well if the judge allowed. But he did plead guilty and he has since disavowed QAnon and blamed Trump for duping him (he did not blame Capitol Police for entrapping him by walking him through hallways). I'm not sure what footage of him walking in a hallway does with that information. Besides which, as mentioned, everything that Tucker Carlson has presented or will present from his exclusive J6 footage is compromised from (1) its exclusivity (competitors can't disprove the narrative), (2) Carlson's previous admissions that he engages in 'non-literal commentary' and that viewers do not expect 'actual facts', and (3) the recent revelation in the Dominion lawsuit that he said internally that he didn't believe Trump's stolen election claims but promoted them on-air anyway. I'm sure Carlson will drop more 'damning footage' of people walking around in later installments and it doesn't really matter what it is -- the providence of the footage is completely untrustworthy.
even by right-winger/tucker standards the "gotcha" moments here are pathetically weak. ooohh...other members of congress were running too...not just hawley. so that means democrats are liars! lol. nobody said hawley was the only one running from the trump insurrectionists. hawley was mocked because he was running from the people whom he had earlier raised his fist in solidarity towards and was one of the main people spreading the lies that brought them to the capitol. as for cops helping the qannon shaman around...they should all be fired. you want to blame someone for ashli babit being shot and killed...blame her for buying into trumps lies. blame the insurrectionist who boosted her up over the broken window while a cop was pointing a gun at them. blame trump and other republican leaders who spread the lies that brought her to the capitol. ashli babbit would still be alive if trump didnt lie to her. in the end, her death, along with the cops who died, is his fault. if we truly were a nation of laws trump would have been arrested that day and would be in jail right now. why do you suckers still watch tucker carlson or believe anything he says? he has been lying to you and manipulating you the whole time. he was telling you things that he himself didnt even believe. dont you care? dont you feel stupid when you continue to follow someone who you know has lied to you over and over again?
Logically, at this point, you would think that Carlson has zero credibility, especially when it comes to the 2020 presidential election. Then you remember that the Fox News demographic is a bunch of self-deluded liars themselves living their best hate dream.
How do you feel about Tucker's own text messages revealing that he knowingly lied about the 2020 election on air? What about Rupert Murdoch's deposition where he acknowledged that Fox hosts lied? Why is the burden of proof for anything they say not on them?
Tucker has the to keep spreading lies and being dishonest. It isn't responsible, ethical, or a positive undertaking. Rupert M, is wrong to allow it. But they both have the right.
The list of most idiotic and gullible dip$hit supporters is getting longer and longer and even Tillis thinks y'all are full of it... link
