Not many people know this, but Over the Top was an 80s movie starring Sylvester Stallone. It’s about an older down-on-his luck truck driver who enters an arm wrestling contest in Vegas. Despite his age, he prevails and wins a a lot of money. You know who else is older and wants to win while also making a lot of money? You guessed it: Yuli. And if you assholes can’t see it in your heart enough to support that, I’m not sure I can support you any longer. Stallone’s character, Lincoln Hawk, had lost his wife. He was a widower. But you jackasses keep pinching your pennies refusing to sign Yuli. I’ve had just about enough. Up to here. Fine!
Yuli can be our clubhouse arm wrestler. But there is no room on the roster. There's a role for him, just not as a player. Retirement often comes as a shock rather than a smooth transition.
Yeah but you cussed, so I figured you had been hacked or you were drunk. It was 1 am in the morning...........
I saw there were already two highly impactful threads on the importance of Yuli Gurriel and thought to myself: what this message board needs is one more Yuli thread RIGHT NOW!!
I had zero clue no one would clue in I was making a joke with the original post…that there were 2 other threads posted right after another by the same guy on the same topic. Oh, well.
