If you're the Colts, with Steichen as coach, and the success he had with Hurts, how do you not just stay at 4 and take Richardson? It makes too much sense.

    Richardson is insane.

I think this is probably whats going to end up happening. Texans are doing their part, making their interest seem very fluid and as long as they do that it makes no sense to trade ahead of them if you are the Colts at least.

Yes he is until you see how inconsistent he is from game to game.

It's possibly the best situation for the Texans. They may end up with their choice of QBs, the colts don't get the Bryce Young, and Richardson could be a bust.

Could be bad though if Richardson is Cam++.

**** the colts, Bobby made Brock Purdy a playoff qb, I'd love to see what he can do with the physical tools Richardson possesses

It’s wild some of y’all want Richardson with no questions asked, but not Levis who is a better thrower of the ball and a close physical comparison.

If Levis was close, he would have ran.

Also, how do we know Levis is a better thrower of the ball? Richardson has little experience to go on, they both have great arms. Richardson is without a doubt more athletic.

    God you’re an idiot.
He’s ran 4.5s, which is probably where he will run at proday. Where’s your excuse for why most guys didn’t run?

Tape? Richardson is extremely inaccurate, Levis has a quicker release and is more accurate.
He is a tick better athlete, but not some wide discrepancy. 10’4 broad jump is elite. When he runs high 4.5s there isn’t a ton different.
There’s a much larger difference from Levis to Stroud or Young than there is Richardson to Levis

I have watched every throw in all of Richardson's games this year. he has a bit of an accuracy problem but it is being overblown.
The fact he is 244 pounds and runs a 4.4 let's him get out of 2-3 sacks a game and chuck the ball into the bench to save yardage. By the time FSU rolled around, he was down his top 5 wide receivers.
Lots of drops by his receivers. One or two highly inaccurate balls per game.

He will be chosen by the Colts first overall and will be a nuisance for us for a decade.

I don’t care what he’s reported to run. There’s no official number out there and calling other people idiots isn’t going to change that. You need to take your blood pressure medicine. He doesn’t look like a 4.5 guy on tape.

I think Levis and Richardson have similar profiles, to be honest.

Levis is slightly better at throwing the ball. Richardson probably isn't as good, but is an incomplete. I've heard it said that he's more accurate than Cam was coming out.

I would say that Richardson is far and away a better athlete than Levis. I don't think it's a huge difference on the field.

They're both weaker at decision making and ball placement. They both have big arms, but struggle with touch. Punishing runners.

Levis is two years older, however.

He absolutely looks like a 4.5 guy on tape in 2021. Not so much in 22 when he was hurt.
You don’t test as well as he did in explosion drills and all of a sudden become slow.
Fanduel has him projected sub 4.6 40.

The real problem is some of you have weird biases. Richardson isn’t the passer that Levis is, but somehow he is free from criticism?
Young and Stroud aren’t testing any athletic traits, yet they’re free from criticism? Weird

There isn’t a big difference in athleticism. Richardson is a little faster in open field. Power, agility and short area burst there isn’t much difference. Size there isn’t much difference. Arm strength isn’t much difference.
Levis has him beat in arm angle, off platform ability and accuracy.

I should have expected AR to boost his stock at the combine. No longer an option to go with WA at #2 and AR at #12, though i did expect we would have had to trade up from 12 anyway, but now AR might go 1, or 4 and has measured himself into our view at 2.

The AR type of prospect is so sexy to pass up but has it ever really worked out Super Bowl winning-wise from a QB position? Even from other positions really? RBs? WRs? Defense? LT and Deion? Donald?
