24 is old? If he's a franchise QB that means he will play at least 10 maybe 15 years. I'll take that.
Bennett also destroyed any chance he had of getting drafted by acting like an ass after the NC game. And no, Bennett’s arm is not even close to the same universe as Bryce Young’s. If Bryce Young was the same player he is now, just 6’2, he’d be considered the best QB prospect coming out in years. I think his size has clouded judgement on him. His QB skills are Mahomes like, his arm strength is vastly underrated, he’s incredibly accurate. He has few, if any, true knocks on him as far as pure QBing is concerned. If you’re trying to knock Bryce Young down, you can’t do it based on his pure QB skills, he’s above everyone in this class in that aspect. If he was 6’2 he’d be the unquestioned top pick. But, he’s not 6’2. And he’s not just small, he’s historically small. And the size is a legitimate big knock against him.
Sorry, your credibility is lacking if you think Bennett is close to the passer Young is. There is a reason he isn’t being mentioned in the neighborhood of the first round.
People are sleeping on Bryce Ford-Wheaton. This guy's pretty good. He's much faster than I thought he would be. Dude is very talented.
You might want to go back and checkout some tape if you think Young's arm strength is anywhere near Mahomes arm strength. I would start with the LSU game. BTW, Bennett will get drafted late in the draft.
I was just trying to prove a point. Nobody really said what the differences are. Bennett appears to be very accurate and his arm is plenty strong enough. It's not like he has no mobility. He's won big games, even bigger games than Young has won. Dont get me wrong, I dont want Bennett either. But I would much rather pick Bennett at 4-103 than Young at 1-2. BTW, Bennett just put up a 59 mph throwing speed.
In other news ... TCUs Max Duggan measured in at 6' 1.5" and 205 and ran a 4.52 40. This kid runs hard and fierce.
