I don’t think anyone thought he would be truly 5’7. He’s still the smallest QB overall in the modern era. And the added weight doesn’t look healthy, if it zaps any of his athleticism he’s going to be a very average player imo

Kyler Murray was a bad top overall pick. And Kyler Murray has more athleticism than Bryce Young... although Young may be better in terms of intangibles and maturity. Either way, they are comparable players... and neither are worth #2 overall.

You can continue to beat this drum, but you’ll continue to be in the minority. Everyone knows Kyler is immature, it’s not a secret. No matter what height or weight a qb is, they can be a bust. People rely on the tape and Young’s tape is absolutely worth a high 1st round pick.

    IYO

Did you see the list of QB's listed that were close to his height, weight. Not a lot of NFL success there.

Texans aren't paying Jimmy G $30+ million a year. Caserio should be fired on the spot if he does that.

WOW. Absolutely brutal list. That list tells the story. We have got to wise up and move in another direction at 1.02. Levis or go defense.

True but you and a few others thought he’d come in 5’9” and 10-20 lbs lighter. But to say his weight looks unhealthy is a bit ridiculous. He’s either too light or too heavy seemingly. But assuming he plays a bit lighter, that should be some type of sweet spot for you no?

Surely you don’t think he added 20 lbs of fat right before the most important testing of his career?

He will not play at 204, closer to 190. It will affect his mobility, that much weight in this short of time is not healthy. At all.
Yes, I said he might come in under 5’10. 1/8 of an inch off. That’s better than you and the others claiming 5’11 or 6’.

He is small, like smallest QB in modern era.

There is no possible way he gained 20 pounds of healthy weight in 2 months. Sorry, that’s not a thing at his frame and height.

Can we stop pretending like we know what weight he played at this season. McShay said he was in the low 190s in October.

And there are others saying he was sub 185, so……..
His camp said he was trying to put on weight, that is fact. It’s not healthy weight gain, and his frame doesn’t look conducive to adding healthy weight

Call Of Duty Kyler's ACL injury was going to happen had he been 4'3 or 6'5.
I will definitely follow Bryce Young's career wherever he lands.

Which is probably why he’s not doing drills today

Come on man you can be an honest poster. You said he’d come in under 5’10” 185. He came in taller (barely) and heavier but apparently that is only a negative to you. 185 is too light, 204 is unhealthy, 190 will affect his mobility. There is literally no win there for him.

Also show me where I said he was 6 foot…
