    Mahomes? Really?

The cheerleaders need new glasses to go along with their pom poms.

Compare him to the QB's that regularly make the playoffs, how many games do those QB's miss?

If we go QB at #2, then we have to go with Will Levis at this point. My preference remains Will Anderson though. If Young’s ceiling is Kyler Murray, then that’s a no for me. Injury risk is massive - we’d have to run max protect all the time, and take playmakers off the field. Just too many issues for 1.02.

I was talking at the combine, in a vacuum. Richardson has interviewed really well, which I did not expect, based off of seeing previous clips of him speaking. His size has impressed too.

I feel like Levis came off a little mechanical and kind of cocky. My opinion, I know. I haven't felt that way seeing him speak previously though. I still expect Levis will make a leap in the drills as will Richardson.

My comment was less about dogging in Levis and more about being impressed with Richardson. As you said, from little info.

As I said in a different post, these two are neck and neck and I think the throwing drills will help separate them.

Nobody thinks Young's ceiling is Murray.

I think I would pass on a receiver in the first round..Too many guys all bunched together in terms of their potential with no one standing out. Get Someone in second or third round.

    Today should be really interesting

As Levis aid, I've got a cannon and I want to show it off. So does Richardson. Should be must TV watching.

Young's ceiling is Brees, but I wouldn't bet on it happening.

I would be iffy on betting anyone hits a Brees level, just because the NFL is such a crapshoot with QBs.

But I could see Young reaching that level. I just wouldn't put money on it.

Levis is also “old”; isn’t he 24?

He's 23. Two years older than Richardson.

Your opinion seems to be vastly different than most everyone else. You consider Murray a bust?

Who said Young’s ceiling was Murray? The only comparison is physical stature.

Looks like Levis measured in at 6’4 229 with
    10 5/8 inch hands.
10’4 broad jump and 34” vertical so far.

A guy picked in the top 1-5 is supposed to be a guy that can put a team on his shoulders and lead them to a championship. Murray's not that guy. So yes, I consider him to be a bust. He just got his greatest advocate fired.

BTW, Bennett is bigger than Young and probably faster. He also has just as good of an arm, accuracy and I dont see anybody wanting him at 1-2.

He's also proven he can perform at his best in the biggest moment.
