Really good with the ball. The only real criticism I have heard on him is his ratio of dropped passes is higher than you would like to see.
This is what the Texans should do rounds 1-3 Trade 1.2 to Seattle for 1.5, 1.20, late 4th rounder Draft Tyree 1.5 Draft Richardson 1.12 or Carter if available and new charges have not been brought. Draft Mazi Smith (DT) 1.20 Draft Best TE 2.33 unless top 4 are gone, then BPA Round 3 Achane BPA rest of way
I really liked Carter, he was #1 on my board. Based on what he appears to have done, my biggest issue is not the speeding, reckless driving or even being drunk (maybe), it was leaving the scene and not trying to help his comrades. In chaos leaders don't think of themselves they run to the incident and try to help. That's what Texans do. Harvey is a recent example of how we came together to help folks in the midst of a catastrophe. I'm out on Carter now, unless there is something missing from that initial story.
The fact that Carter left the scene instead of going to help a carful of friends and teammates speaks volumes. I get he made a mistake. But it's a HUGE mistake when you're about to pay a dude 10s of millions of dollars and hoping to sink 10+ years of your time into him. This is where NIL is interesting. It's going to tell you a lot about some of these guys that you couldn't find out otherwise. His history in that car does it for me. It's a no for me, dawg. Especially after the Watson fiasco. I'd imagine he's off our board.
you can answer it "go f yourself" (and that might be what teams want to hear) it's a dumb question though. The idea that you would decide to draft a player based on whether or not they get triggered by a question is insane.
He was charged with 2 misdemeanors is that enough for you. What would it take to make it right in your opinion?
Thats up to the judge to decide. Running away from a crime scene is not a good look for anyone let alone a talented football player who's about to be given millions of dollars. Would hate for him to be playing fast and the furious through the streets of Houston and that type of concern shouldnt even be a factor when you're drafting #2 overall.
