Why doesn't he just say what he's thinking? Davis Mills sucks.

    He made a mistake.

Would you feel differently if he hadn't lied?

Reckless driving isn't a big deal.

Somebody's about to get another Warren Sapp, a great player who fell due to character concerns to like the 8th or 10th pick and played at a high level for a decade. If Anderson goes at 1-2 and Carter falls to 1-8 or 1-10 I'm trading up for him and I'm very thankful I got the 2 best defensive players in this draft for the next decade.

    Hughes/Collins/Carter/Anderson

The days of this defense getting run all over has come to an end and the pass rush should be ferocious as well. Pipe Dreams.

    1-2 Anderson
    1-8 Carter trading 2-32 and 4-103, 2024 3rd.
    3-65 Laporta
    3-73 Mingo
    5th. RB Keion Mithcell

In many states, reckless driving that causes death is a felony.

While Reckless Driving is typically a misdemeanor criminal charge in Georgia, that assumes no people were harmed during the careless behavior. If an individual convicted of Reckless Driving caused serious injuries or death to another person, they could face more severe felony criminal penalties

A bad decision is now considered a character concern?

Before this Carter was considered a fine young man.

Still is IMHO, he just made a terrible youthful mistake.

I hope you never make a mistake in your life and if you do I hope people are more forgiving than you are.

To me the character concerns are what he did after the wreck. Left the scene and lied to the cops.

The wreck happened because the other person chose to drive recklessly. Nothing more or less. It's a sad situation. I guess somebody's gotta get blamed when another person dies.

Nothing that would keep me from drafting him.

They just said he was charged with 2 misdemeanor reckless driving charges and he left the combine to go turn himself in.

I've made plenty of mistakes. I've never tried to weasel my way out of them and stood tall before the judge. Im out on the young man as a prospect for my football team - he still has a chance to make right by this, but he will need to face the consequences just like everyone else guilty of crimes.

GM of the Colts saying they are looking for a QB who can process what is going on on the field, is accurate and can make plays when the game is on the line. Arm strength is overrated and size doesn’t matter.

Work ethic and preparation. Nothing about size or playing style.

We know how the Texans are, they've probably already crossed out Carter's name on the board completely. Time to draft Anderson.

With or without Carter in the draft, Anderson is great pick.

Houston enters a new era in 2023 with the hiring of head coach DeMeco Ryans, and the Texans -- who hold the No. 2 overall pick -- are looking to add a franchise quarterback come April. With Chicago at No. 1 and perhaps in the market to trade the pick to a QB-needy team, Jeremiah believes Houston's in a good position either way when it comes to his top two QBs in the 2023 class, Alabama's Bryce Young and Ohio State's C.J. Stroud.

"I'd be fine with it," Jeremiah said of the scenario where Stroud ends up being Houston's consolation prize. "I like Bryce Young better on tape, but I think C.J. Stroud is a really good player. If you're not comfortable with the price to get up to that No. 1 pick, staying where they are and getting C.J. Stroud, I feel just fine about that. I think he's just a pure thrower. The big question with him that's been talked about is, 'OK, not a lot of off-schedule, not a lot of playmaking.' Then all of a sudden, you see the CFB playoff semifinal game (against Georgia), and you're like, 'Dude, where's this been?' He showed you he has that ability. The old scouting adage is: If you can do it once, you can do it. So you know he does have that ability. I think Bryce is a little bit more of a playmaker, to me, consistently when you watch him. I just love his instincts and feel. His ability to move within the pocket, I think, is better. I think Bryce Young is a better player, but I would not be totally bummed if you sat there at No. 2 and ended up with C.J. Stroud."
