    He is neither...

Duncan is the best PF in history and was one of the better rookies in history.

Mobley is couple notches lower but still a mature sophomore with a good mindset.

Bari is one of the most entitled beings I have watched, self absorbed and barking at everyone else.

No, sir, bad attitude and chucker's mindset.

Showed no shame in his deficiencies.

    Challenging 60 year old Jordan.

His beef with Jordan goes back to his cousin Kwame, the infamous "biggest bust in NBA history". Kwame blames MJ for him being a terrible NBA player.....because of course it had to be everyone else's fault.

    Does that attitude sound familiar?

Whats wrong with being a role player? Klay is also a role player. Not everybody has to be the iso/clutch guy. The importsnt is you do your role at an elite level and your niche isnt common.

Jabari is only 19 yrs old he is 6'10 with a Giannis type build and has a defensive mindset. His shooting has been beyond terrible but to be honest if he was shooting 38% from 3 instead of 28% he'd be contesting Paolo for ROY. Even as a role player his ceiling is very high cuz 6'10 athletic PFs who are good on defense and can shoot 3s are very valuable.

I dunno what happened with his shot but at least everybody knows thats his issue so he can focus on fixing that in the offseason.

The one issue I have with him is he was touted to have a Giannis/Tim Duncan attitude and mentality, instead at times he seems to be a lot more KD there's a sense of entitlement and blaming everybody else over looking at himself. Hopefully he fixes his attitude over time but to slam the book on him this early just makes zero sense.

most players would go up 100 notches if they shoot 10% better from 3. Jabari is a zero without his shot, his defense is not good enough cover the weaknesses everywhere else.

When you are drafted for being great at 2 things and bad at everything else, and you fail to do those 2 things, you are barely an NBA player.

Lol if only you heard of the stuff Jordan did as a rookie.

What is this bad attitude you guys are talking about? Nothing screams "I've never played organized basketball ever before" than thinking Jabari has committed some cardinal sin for wondering why there was no help on defense at the rim.

That's some common crap that happens every game multiple times a game.

Also, challenging Jordan was a joke, you dudes need to lighten up. It was clearly a joke, during an allstar weekend interview, you just finding reasons to hate on him at this point.

The Rockets should offer Green for Wagner, Banchero and the Bulls 2022 1st.

His defense is being downplayed by a crap ton here. A crap ton.

A whole crap ton. Rookies come in TERRIBLE at defense, its why coaches hate playing him. Jabari as a rookie has been outstanding on defense for a rookie. If this is as bad as he will be defensively in his career...

The Rockets should offer Jalen Green and a late first round pick for Jordan Clarkson.

I also can beat up strawmen.

The difference is, Jabari is a scrub.

A scrub player running their mouth is VERY different. Jabari is literally the worst player on the roster but he runs his mouth like he's the best.

You wouldn't want to hear that **** from Daishen Nix... well, Jabari isn't any better.

Give me Horry instead of Bari any day.

Even at the off chance he becomes somebody.

I hope for the Rockets that he improves but I won't proactively support this guy, not the dude I want to identify myself with tbh.

This is why people don't take some of your posts seriously. You just said Jabari is the worst player on the team. Is it Jabari or is it Green?

I think most people think you say these things not to have discussions but to just get a rise out of people.

As for his trash talk no one cares about that. Like yall take this stuff way too seriously, moreso than the players. Jabari will be trash talking to players on the court then embrace them afterwards, its all in good fun, but again like I said I realize a lot of people might not have experience playing basketball and that's fine. The trash talk is normal. You don't see other players getting mad at it, just fans that don't realize how often it goes on.

The players know everyone that makes it there, as far as Jabari has, confident players. Some of them trash talk, some of them don't say a word at all. It's really nothing to psychoanalyze.

I like Jabari and I know he is 19 and I hope he will develop into a useful role player eventually - but I don't see the amazing defense (yet). He is probably one of the best three defenders on the Rockets (behind Garuba and Tari) and I can see the focus on defense and how he always goes into a good defensive stance, but I haven't really seen the lockdown defender (yet) I was hoping for. Can you show some examples of where he has really shut someone down?

His defense on Giannis for an entire game was the most promising he's looked.

Yeah but then you'd be beating yourself up. The pillar of your argument about Jabari Smith Jr Jalen Green is that . . . the franchise that drafted him and is highly motivated to pretend like he's a future superstar even though the signs on the court have been few and far between and basically very few if any neutral observers are of the same mind.

That's more straw than the King Ranch

    Oh and BY THE WAY...

Every single player on the 15 man roster other than Usman Garuba and Alperen Sengun is shooting worse than expected from 3pt range.

They're all missing too many wide open shots. There's obviously a systemic problem that's killing his numbers. This kind of thing doesn't just happen. You might have a couple of shooters having off years, but never 12-13 players have a bad shooting year.

Sticking with Tari is safer for now.

There is no hate just disappointment and false info from the scouts but okay.

    I own up to that.

Criminals do things off court but ambitious punks do small or big things at the sidelines or in game.
