Poor coaches, but most of all, weak leaders.

It was reported that Silas told John Wall that it was Rafael Stone that wanted him to not play. Passing the buck is a major sign of a weak leader, in any industry.

There has not been ONE SINGLE POSTGAME where Stephen Silas has taken OWNERSHIP of his own decisions. He takes zero heat for his players. Instead, he passes the buck and blames his players constantly and consistently, because he is a weak, soft leader. Go watch a Darvin Ham postgame interview, or a Gregg Popovich interview, and see what taking ownership and leading by example is.

I don't know how much of it is personal or not (bizzarrely, it does look personal when Silas' looks like he just got an ulcer every time he is asked about Alpi), but you were right that this clique of nepotist underachievers does not like him - they clearly had an agenda against him, starting before this season started already, demoting him behind Bruno Fernando (lol), however, they will be gone before him.

And the fact that Stone traded away their beloved "lob threat" (after having traded Wood already) tells me that the next coach will be told to make it work with Alpi, and will hopefully be chosen partly based on his presumed ability and willingness to do so.

My impression/guess is that what @Clutch kept hearing about "the organization" not trusting Alpi is not necessarily everyone in the organization - certainly these guys - and this clique would have been in everyone else's ear internally - but they will be gone before next season starts.

Good information @AroundTheWorld . I think you are on to something here. it is beyond obvious there is an agenda when it comes to Alpi. I will be so glad when these incompetent clowns are finally gone. I doubt Silas ever sniffs another head coaching job in this league.

I hope not, people like to compare his situation to that of Bickerstaff Jr. but make no mistake Bickerstaff wasn't a bad coach, he was just an average guy who liked Corey brewer too much.

Silas is a BAD coach who likes KPJ too much. I also no longer subscribe to the "he is a good guy" bullcrap.

Not saying this is the case, but it happens more than you’d like to think. It’s called reverse racism.

Yes, the witch hunting of this Charlotte Bobcat clique against Alpi - correct. It's stupid.

Yes it is stupid. You guys are reading too much into this over difference of opinion and pretending secret agenda type bs. It's the conspiratorial nature and it makes sense coming from a right wing mind. You guys usually are very conspiratorial.

More like xenophobia. Are they annoyed with the language barrier? Difference in aggression?

Not sure if it’s been said yet but…. I couldn’t watch that Higgins in game interview. He stumbles to say anything or answer basic questions. Cringe worthy …

no wonder the kids aren’t developing. Dumbasses like this on the “staff”

There is nothing secret about it. You can see how they openly talk about him, and how they treat him differently from other players, in terms of minutes and scapegoating him. Nobody is "pretending a secret agenda". We are commenting on what we are seeing.

    I don't think it's conspiracy.

Just 2 guys who can't figure out how to use a Euro big man that's all.

The other stuff if they don't like him personally, you shouldn't care that much about.

    That's gossip and entertainment.

You can disagree with a difference of opinion without implying alternate agendas
