If you haven't noticed the entire team plays bad defense. Silas singling out Sengun for bad defense is absurd lol.
Opposing team know it and exploit it routinely. It's an active part of their game-planning for the Rockets. Teams with talented guards are going to hunt him and bigs are going to try to bully him. Ideally, with Segun being so young and new to the NBA, he will eventually find ways to compensate, or at least mask, some of his defensive deficiencies because he brings so much on the other end. But unfortunately right now it seems some of those Kanter comps weren't as far off as we had hoped.
I remember this game. And his fans say he's more mature now. Yeah a year older, but is he really maturing? IDK
Silas is feeling heat about how he uses Sengun. He is getting more and more defensive whenever he is asked about Sengun. It has become a reflex now.
Silas is weak! He only pick with Sengun because he is a nice guy and if he put his foot down on any other player they would yell back at him.
Also, Klay dropped 12 3 pts the other game. Is it Sengun fault? The problem isn't switching or whatever. It's the defense the coach put in. They are playing some type of zone defense that just station at their spot. They don't get out of it. Result of lots of open 3. I noticed the only time they actually switch is when this 5 are on the floor together. Garuba/KJ/Eason/Christopher/Gordon.
Rafael Stone not recognizing Excellent Alpha Male Leaders in Coaches, Hiring weak Coaches so that Rafael Stone can control the Coach in his Tanking Strategy.
So he was asked specifically about Sengun and answered specifically about Sengun. And you feel like that was the coach "singling him out"?
Christian Wood, Eric Gordon refusing to check in Russell Westbrook, James Harden, PJ Tucker wanting a trade because Stephen Silas doesnt know anything, and he seems like a Beta Male
Because he has been called out by the coach and benched the past two games for bad defense. He is the only legitimate offensive threat and acting like his defense is so atrocious that he needs to be benched. It's ridiculous. 10 of Dame's 71 came on the PnR against Sengun. When has any other player been specifically called out by Silas and benched for bad defense? Has Jalen ever been called out and benched for bad defense? Jabari only gets praise by Silas for his defense. Feel free to correct me but I don't remember it happening.
Between Will and that other dude on Twitter - jacking off Sengun constantly….they have to take the good with the bad. You can’t ask Silas 10 questions about Sengun every day and expect it to always be positive … I love Sengun and feel can be used to exploit certain teams ( but he doesn’t effect the game like Sabonis / Jokic) if Rockets as a team shot better from 3 then that would really open the game up for him He literally touches the ball almost everytime down court - so he’s not being ignored on offense like folks loved to say when (KPJ and JG) were playing - he needs to continue developing a midrange jumper and a 3 even it’s just from the top or corner
Even if that was the q would you critisize your named player publicly or say while our team defence was bad that we couldn't contain dame .it is my job to teach guys to defend NBA offence so i sit sengun next to me to teach his mistakes. Any sane multi million contract worker would do this to get higher contracts but news flash sillyass is a moron.
