Was there really a difference in guarding Lillard when Silas sat Sengun in the 4th? NO. And yet he bears the brunt of the blame. This is just sad
OR we just need a coach, period. I can't believe he is a good assistant coach either or he is a good person.
guarding Lillard was not the key issue. Narrowing the gap to 5 points at the 7:45 mark in the 4th quarter was the key issue. #TeamResultsFirstSengunMinutesSecond
Oh, so you are saying that "narrowing the gap" was a result of not playing Sengun - interesting. By that same logic, the subsequent "widening of the gap" was also a result of not playing Sengun, right? #selectivelogic Sengun didn't play the last 17 minutes of the game. When he went out, we were down by 20 points. At the end of the game, we were down by 17 points. Big whoop.
no, I'm saying guarding Lillard was not the key issue. In fact, I think I used the exact words, "guarding Lillard was not the key issue."
ATW, you know I love you like a brother and out of all the Sengunatics you get a pass from me. But if you start up with your Sengunacy with me directly I am cutting you out of my will. So when it comes to Sengun, just leave me alone.
First of all, "team results first" implies that they would be better if we don't play Sengun. This is easily disproven by cold hard data. Our results are better with Sengun on the court. Anyone can look that up, easily. Secondly, you are a reasonable poster normally, I don't know why you keep repeating this anti-Sengun schtick ad nauseam. Must be "Islamophobia" .
again . . . there is no "anti-Sengun" schtick here. I peddle only "anti-Sengunatic schtick." There IS a difference.
Well, the next positive post about Sengun I would see from you would be the first...regardless of "Sengunatics". Goes without saying that posts calling for the coach to die because he is unfair to Sengun are obviously cray cray, but there are literally maybe 2-3 posters who go overboard to that degree, that doesn't make everyone who enjoys watching Sengun and protests the unfair treatment by the coaching staff a "SOF".
It goes a little beyond that. A lot of more reasonable Sengun only fans even if they don't say absurd things like that still will put down other players especially Green to prop up Sengun when in reality both need each other to perform well.
Literally posts about Sengun 24/7.... "I'm not anti-Sengun it's just a joke!" lol you ****ing weirdos need to see the sun
I applaud your efforts to try and pin your mental problems on everyone else unfortunately you're not fooling anyone.
Sabonis is just Sengun's floor. God knows what such a bb savage is capable of in normal circumstances, let alone in favorable one.
we dont even need that, just someone not to hold him back...the other night vs OKC sengun played only 15 minutes...ppl here think dame would score 70 if he plays 15 minutes and the ball is taken away from him? LOL
Narrowing the gap when they put Lillard on the bench? Lol context matters. Put Sengun in against the second unit if you think he can't guard Dame then. He literally just singled him out and didn't play him at all.
Senguns biggest issue is we have absolutely 0 shooters for him to play with. So basically his biggest strength which is play making is negated by the fact that we just fire up bricks all day long. If we can't ever get a lead his defensive weakness is then amplified. Until this team gets some guys who can make some wide open shots we will never see Senguns full potential..
At the same time Sengun clogs up driving lanes for guys like Green because at the end of the day Sengun is the opposite of a floor stretcher and is a large part of driving lane congestion this team has.
