She’s my US Rep and I’m not a fan either. Also most of this is not due to her but due to Tim Walz and the MN DFL winning an outright majority. That majority wasn’t won in her district but in rural and suburban districts.

Also to add to her list:
    Legalization of recreational mar1juana
Legalization of sports betting outside of casinos

Hmmm seeing as you've agreed with me before during the primaries that Biden is a "go with the wind" candidate(he went with the wind when it came to crime rhetoric in the early 90s for example), the progressive isle of the party spamming these issues made these issues viable for Biden to accept as a moderate. I'm glad he did. He's definitely adhering to some progressive principles as president. Glad he is.

Not saying Ilhan Omar is only responsible but there is a utility to having a progressive wing of a party. They can often shift policy agendas.

I wasn't crediting her for doing those things. I'm stating that democrats are winning left and right with biden in power. Democrats got murdered on the state level when Clinton and obama were in power.

I don't see the argument from lefties that we should force biden to step down when democrats are winning left and right and actually passing important legislation

How is biden a "go with the wind canidate" when he's strong anti trust enforcement wasn't alive in America for over 70 years? Why are you so crappy about debating facts?

I don't think lefties are advocating for that? It's not like they think replacing him is going to get a left candidate to replace him. We all know it's going to be another moderate if that were to happen. So don't understand where you are getting that sentiment. Biden is relatively fine. Leftists aren't outraged over him like you think.

Biden has defied my expectations as a President. I used to think he was a much more go with the wind politician but he’s not so much that as president.

I’ve said there certainly is a place for progressives and I’ve said I think the country does best with a range of views. Certainly Omar has a place in the ideological spectrum but my criticisms of are less about her ideology and more that I don’t think she is a good US Rep. While she is a good fundraiser and in they regard helped the DFL take the state majority in many of the districts that were swung she is a liability. I don’t think many of the new legislators wanted her help and I don’t think she did directly.

You do realize the left wing of the party hasn't successfully governored ANYWHERE. NOWHERE. The left took over control of the Nevada party and they havnt passed a single piece of anything. They're literally purging the entire party of moderates.

Bernie bros have no idea how to govern. It's pathetic and it looks awful on you folks

The left isn't going to get the same superPACs support from major entities like private health insurance companies and lobbying groups. It's a disadvantage for them. Those groups don't trust leftists.

Yes that was one of the biggest failings of Obama and Clinton. It’s one of the arguments I’ve made for years that Democrats too frequently focused on winning big elections when what was important was winning at every level. From school board to President. That’s how Republicans have built up their structural advantage.

That said I don’t think it’s all due to brilliant strategy by Democrats in the last three elections but that the Republican brand is unpopular. That’s what cost them in 2018, 2020 and from taking the Senate and winning a larger House majority in 2022.

Ya too many confounding factors. Is it due to Biden's success as a campaigner or due to the recent strain of GOP candidates who are significantly more extreme than during the Obama and Clinton era? Newt was the extremist during that era. Now its people like MTG.

Read this story and it'll tell you EVERYTHING that's wrong with Progressives. They HAVE ZERO interest in working with moderates. NONE. It's a purity contest with them.

Bernie or another Progressives wouldn't have accomplished 5% of what biden has accomplished
