Using plus minus for an individual game is nonsensical. Lets not do that. Advanced box scores for games like this are also meaningless.

 

I mean we still had the worst record in the league w/ Jalen.KPJ starting & we also lost to bottom level teams, yeah the talent gap between them & the bench is obvious but they're not some world beaters, below avg backcourt tandem at best, not something to brag about. They'll have 2 seasons starting together now & 2 seasons of being the worst team in the league.

 

I really like the option to ignore people haha

 

Their defense sucks because all their wings are slow dudes with short arms. What are Keita Bates-Diop and Doug McDermott supposed to do? We have young athletic dudes who just do dumb things on purpose because they're running a scheme from the stone age. Player-wise the defense shouldn't be half this bad. Guys like Jalen, JC, Jabari, even Tate and Tari just have a compulsive desire to swipe at every ball that passes by them and no one from the coaching staff bothers to tell them how stupid that is.

 

He played well tonight for sure, but he was also shooting 18% from 3 before today.

 

Lol when did I say they were world beaters. These guys have a lot more growing to do if they want to be a winning backcourt. But I'm just saying a Nic and TyTy backcourt is such a massive downgrade. You can't expect a semblance of hope with that lack of talent.

 

This small magical stretch was... a 6-4 stretch.

This is the worst Rockets team since 83 when they traded Moses.

That's a cool stretch for Jalen that's like like a ninth of his NBA career.

 

Because players become lax during the last minutes, defenses stall and God forbid Alpi have another 3x2.

We are not discussing whether tyty played good or not. We are not drawing conclusions, just stating a fact. The original post said, we are getting clowned with tyty/nix. tyty +2 says we did not get clowned with tyty on the court. It is a fact, not an interpretation. It is not about how it happened. it is what it is.

 

It's going to be so cool when Alpe becomes an all star in another jersey. I'm going to really enjoy that

Lol alright dude, that's exactly what you are doing. You dont know what who was doing what and what lineups were on the floor. Klay was a plus 32, Divencizio was a plus 14, compared to Tytys measly plus 2, that is us getting clowned.
