KPJ literally destroyed the cavs locker room . I mean literally he smashed his locker and a few others after a tantrum. That’ was the final straw for the Cavs hence why he was traded for next to nothing.


This is not exactly an isolated incident by a model citizen. Wall mentioned Green, KPJ and few others are not exactly good team or locker room guys

 

Kind of funny, KPJ has been the 2nd best player on the entire roster this season and he's been out since the 11th of January, yet he's still catching strays because Jalen Green and Jabari Smith suck. That's rough.

 

Wall didn't say anything about their locker room presence. Did you watch what he said? All he said is that on a team that isn't ranking you wouldn't be able to get away with what you are doing now in terms of on court mistakes. When did he even suggest Green was a bad locker room presence. That has never been a thing attributed to Green.

 

The locker room is a mess. Nobody is worse than KPJ

Many Rockets players need an attitude adjustment that can be delivered by a hard, old school veteran or by a disciplinarian type of coach. We have neither option available to us now. I mean, maybe John Lucas, but heck, he struggled with drugs himself during his youth -- so it's hard to have much moral authority when that's his background.

• KPJ is immature and self-absorbed. Prone to violent fits and impulsive decision-making. Troublesome.
• Jalen Green suffers from excess consumerism and vanity. Why paint your fingernails and have a woman's hairstyle?
• Jabari Smith thinks he is much better than he actually is. Needs to earn his playing time.
• Kenyon Martin Jr wants out of town and is probably checked out mentally
• Silas is incompetent and lacks the gravitas to control this group of young players. Obviously needs to be fired.

We need to bring in a no-nonsense coach and also a veteran who can instill a work ethic and sense of professionalism into these young players. If I were the GM, I'd shake up this team and start making the young players earn it.

 

Maybe this one long episode of undercover boss, with Patrick embedded in the organization.

 

From what I can tell, the brand new drama is things that happened in previous seasons.

I think we both know that no one would be saying any of this if Jalen Green and Jabari Smith were living up to expectations. They suck, so now it has to be KPJ's fault.

 

You know, everyone wants to clown because of the head honcho bit but he's really the only one so far that's taken the responsibility even a little bit.

Stone? No, "this job is hard no can do it perfectly".
Silas? No, blames the players.
Vets? No, just wanted out.

Sengun, Green, anyone?

Head Honcho did. The only one that's said it's me and I need to be better. He's far, far away from having the authority or clout for that to make a difference but he's still the only one so far.

kids need an authoritarian! If u got a squad of vets - then u want a guy who can manage egos and not step on toes... but youngsters need discipline, structure, accountability...
