Can we not make ourselves feel worst about Sauce? Lol

Stingley probably get better next year...but it was a blunder for sure.

Sauce would have been wasted here guarding turf. The only reason I wanted Sauce to be a Texans was that history with the salacious Lis Franc.
Talent wise it's pretty even. But wouldn't you know, injuries took a toll on an injury plagued player.

How do you not go the safe route at 3 and get the guy without an injury history?

That’s what I was asking the day we drafted him. The Texans need help all over the field and there were many options available without the injury history. It really makes me wonder about Nick. You don’t have to gamble on the third pick of the draft.

Sauce wouldn’t have been an all-pro playing for the Texans this year. He is a stud though.

Stingley needs to stay on the field.

Stingley is the prime example of the arrogance of Caserio.

Guy thought he was smarter than everybody taking Stingley over Sauce because one played in the SEC and one didn't; COMPLETELY glossing over the injury history.

And we all know how that worked out.

Sauce & Kayvon already look like the next defensive superstars of the league. Stingley needs to make a big jump in year 2.

We all realize that this is a marathon not a sprint. I honestly don't care if sauce Gardner has a HOF career. I just want Stingley to be
the BEST the TEXANS have had at the position. Don't think the bar is set to high. He is already better than Ed Reed.

The self flagellation in here over the Sauce Gardner vs Stingley thing is getting a bit over the top. It's been one year.

One year in a system that I feel if you changed reams for sauce and stingley then it would have been stingley with the better year. Sauce would have had a lesser year in Tampa 2 as well..

Kinda like if chiefs had Watson with Reid and we had Mahomes with BOB.. I bet you chiefs still win a championship and Texans still suck.
