Would be interesting to see if national media picks up on this, some reporter should go down to Alabama to understand how providing a murder weapon is not a crime.

If Miller is really clear by the letter of the law, so be it. Otherwise, this story stinks to high noon with Tuscaloosa DA undercharging and covering up a crime for a national championship favorite.

If he provided a murder weapon ..... we've seen people convicted for much less.

I really like the talent and had him easily in the top 5 ..... this is very concerning, not in a basketball sense but in a human sense.

Not much news here. Darius Miles asked Brandon Miller to bring him his gun.

Brandon Miller can easily say he didn’t know what he was going to do with it. It’s Darius’ gun so he can ask for his own property. For all Brandon knows, he could’ve been going to the “shooting range”.

this is a horrible look for him

“Miller dropped Miles off at the club but did not stay because the line was too long.

After leaving the club, Harris, her boyfriend, Cedric Johnson, and her first cousin, Asia Humphrey, stopped at a nearby grill to get something to eat.

It was then they encountered Davis, who was dancing in front Harris’s Jeep.

Johnson told Davis that his girlfriend was not interested and to move along. “It got a little elevated,’' the detective testified.

Miles and Davis walked away from the victim’s Jeep but later returned.

Two vehicles - a Dodge Charger and a Dodge Challenger that belonged to Miles’ teammates, Miller and Bradley - were blocking the road where the Jeep was parked.

Miles and Davis walked to Miller’s car and got something - believed to be the gun - out of the back seat.

Moments later, Culpepper testified, Davis began firing through the driver’s side window of the Jeep.

He fired at least eight shots, some of them while running in an arc from the driver’s side around the back of the vehicle.

It was then, the detective said, that Miller’s Charger was struck by two bullets.”

it looks like accomplice activity based off how it’s been described

They really have nothing to charge him with? Or are they overlooking it because he’s the best player on 1 of the best college basketball teams in a place that’s crazy about college sports?

Except this is ALSO very concerning in a basketball sense.

A lot of teams would rather not have a player that provided the murder weapon to a teammate that murdered someone else. It is bad for chemistry and can cause issues down the road. This has to lead teams to questioning who he socializes with, why he had a gun and what did he know about Miles' intentions.

A team with veteran leadership and a strong culture can roll the dice on someone like this at the 4-8 range of the lottery. The problem is that the Rockets already have chemistry issues.

If we get the first or second pick we wouldn't even have to stressing if we should draft him
