Spoiler The two old people in the beginng was hilarious for this episode. After watching the episode, could they possibly the "first line" of defense for Jackson? Just keep up the lore of that area and giving them a heads up that people are on the way.
Excellent episode. It looks like next week is the Left Behind prequel for Ellie so the cliffhanger from last night will last a while longer. Pedro Pascal's acting in the scene with Tommy was incredible. That'll be on his Emmy reel.
I would like to be as chill and unbothered as Elaine Miles and Graham Greene characters are in the apocalypse. They had such amazing chemistry as a couple. Spin off worthy.
No problem whatsoever with characters being gay. The episode could be all about Bill and Sally and it would still be hot garbage. I've stated my actual reasons for not liking it on this thread many times but essentially it's an extremely boring fluff episode without connecting to the main story of the show outside of a couple minor things. It can be skipped and barely anything is missed. All other episodes have been great though.
I'm up to episode 5. This show is good, but so bleak. This is so bleak, man! I dont understand why anyone would want to watch this weekly and make it popular (I binged it). I haven't played the games so I don't know, is there any hope to anything in this setting?? Do they get any wins?
Have heard this can happen from watching the show. There are even small print warnings (I believe) in the opening credits.
I watched this entire movie and I actually liked it. There were a couple of plot holes but I liked the way it ended. Thank you!
Yeah wasn’t feeling the never let me down cover at the end of episode 6. If I can’t hear the synth, I’m gonna have to pass. Sorry.
I didn't want to ruin anything, but yeah. There's always the 3rd game. Maybe there will be some good times there. Turns out this was just one big Newhart. That's the last time Joel goes to sleep watching BBC documentaries.
When it comes down to rooting for communists or fungus zombies, I think I have to pull for the fungus zombies.
Liking it so far.... but something just seems off about the entire series and I can't put my finger on it.
Certainly the fungus zombies aren't perfect heroes, but neither communists or fungus zombies are people, so there's not an obvious choice here. To me it comes down to the fact that the fungus zombies are morally neutral...just a basic lifeform trying to survive the only way it knows how whereas the communists are inherently morally evil.
