If the team's FO and coaches instill that culture and mentality to just roll the ball out there and waste these few years, there are not many 19-21 year olds who won't fall into that trap. Just look at how many college students don't maximize the opportunities that they can get at that time.

It depends on the people around the player. If Jalen has a good crew/support system outside the team, he can persevere through it but there will be times it doesn't show in the game because of the lack team structure. The number of people at that age group who can bring that out of themselves and then manifest that reality completely internally without support from others are unicorns of unicorns.

Plus most of the SM stuff is manufactured instead of real. It basically falls into influencer territory and part of business for this generation.

 

Green top 10 player in NBA sky is the limit for him. He is the next face of the NBA. Future hall of famer, future 15 times MVP and 10 times DPOY
