i cant remember when people haven't hated on all star weekend. Maybe in the 90s when we didn't have near as many events to cry about. if they scrap the whole thing we would complain about that too.
We need Giannis guys who are legit tryhards. Remember when we defended Harden for playing it cool in the all star game? Well this is what we rooted for.
It slowly gets more cringe every year but this one is an especially significant jump up like holy **** this is just basketball.
It's not aging, is just that all star weekend has always been pretty cringe worthy. The only difference in the last decade is the huge growth of social media and everyone b****ing about it. It's the same **** every year, pretty boring, everyone is tired of the dunk contestants not being players people give a damn about, and usually no one really gets serious in the game until about 5 minutes to go in the last quarter. It use to be a ritual to me that I watch all this ****, but eventually I got fed up with it. I semi follow it now, but not religiously like I use to. It doesn't help that the Rockets shitty play has finally sucked the life out of me.
