Agreed, Scoot looks more Ish Smith than CP 3 to me.

We could use Ish Smith. He is competent point guard. Something this team sorely lacks.

I don't really care about Scoot Henderson but it's nutty how you carry the flag for Kevin Porter Jr as an underappreciated gem based on his box score totals but think Henderson projects to Ish Smith

Ishmael learned how to shoot though, he plays smaller than CP3.

Um. If your goal is to win a title, then you definitely need to find A guy.

If your goal is just to be in the conversation of the contenders, then sure a good team is all you need.

I agree on your general premise, but I still think it is too soon to say for Sengun, Jabari and Jalen. Yes, Lebron drafted at 19 already showed examples of greatness. But most of the top player of all time who were drafted at 19 yo did not have that quick of a trajectory. It normally took them 3 years before they really started to show stuff.

LOL i guess you finally got a perfect opportunity to put sengun in the mud together with other scrubs....nice job sengun hater, but i am afraid allstar games just don't matter and the most important thing about them is to stay healthy

Anyone know why he was the only one not to get any mins in the final game? That seems strange as if he was singled out.

Donsunmu and Tari were last minute injury replacements, I doubt Noah knew him that well or had time to read scouting reports on him.

To be fair, jury is still out whether any players of the last two drafts will be one of those championship leaders. It is mostly about luck. If you have top picks in weak drafts, it doesn't really matter how well you can draft.

There is something to be said about rising to the occasion. Guys that are stars usually have an inmate ability to step up their game on the big stage. Last year I was alarmed when Green embarrassed himself in the dunk contest, now Jabari did the same thing.

One thing to remember is that it was Post All Star Break that Green took flight. I think it's because he not only failed in the spotlight and was forced to examine why he failed, but because he was exposed to elite talent and how they prepare. Think it hit him in the head he wanted more. So had to put some work in to achieve another level. Still more to go. But Jabari got a dose of that same concoction this weekend.
