He wants to win and prove everyone he is not a choker. He won't do that here, even though im pretty sure he misses our strip clubs
Starting next year, Lillard is guaranteed $45M+, $48M+, $58M+ and $63M+ in the next 4 years. He makes Harden, Westbrook and CP3 look like Dollar Store deals. Read that again and let it sink in: We would have to pay Dame over $60 million per year for his age 35 and 36 years. Unless Dame gets bought out, he'll be in Portland for the next 4 years, because nobody has the assets to trade for him, and nobody will want to tie up such a big percentage of cap space in an aging PG.
philly aint winning this year or anytime soon. I don't see how they can beat Milwaukee or Boston. They certainly aren't beating Phoenix.
We ripped out the bandage too soon. Hopes he come back and save us from this disaster of a rebuild and dumb@$$ coach. screw the idiots who preferred losing over watching the Beard play. Games aren't even close nowadays or entertaining
Considering Harden outside Jokic is the best Passer/playmaker in the NBA currently I doubt he will be looking to waste his last two or three years of his best on a young team. He will have some offers from contenders outside of Philadelphia. It will be interesting what he does. He might have to take a 1+1 less than the full max to go to another contender. The only way he returns is if he wins a ring this season then I feel he will comeback to here
Rather us b swag champs than watch another year of kpj/Taye or whatever nonpg attempt to run the silas offense if he's still here
I really don't think it's about the money. Daryl would happily fork over the max. He loves James and he's not going to let him go over money, and he trusts that James will age well. Sixers offered him 3 years 120 mil last summer but HE was the one who chose to take a paycut. He also declined 50M annually to get away from the Rockets. I think it's more a combo of A. He and Joel don't see eye-to-eye, B. He doesn't like Philly as a town, C. He thinks he has a better chance at a ring elsewhere.
It is a crazy way to say. I love you, Dame. They had Brandon Roy and Oden. I guess they wanted to retire somebody sooner than later.
