Is SGA the difference in the 0kc vs Houston rebuild?

By the end of this summer, Stone will have collected all the raw materials to begin constructing the house. We have to hope that as the architect, he hires the right contractor (HC) and laborers to build it properly.

 

I'm definitely not a KPJ hater, but... how many players can you name who threw a fit and walked out on their team mid-game?

That was just LAST season. It's not unreasonable to question the guy's mental state.

 

First off..... OKC started their actual "rebuild" a year before the Rockets when they traded us WB.

Second off.... hard to argue that OKC hasn't done a better job than the Rockets so far, but a major factor in that was trading PG for SGA. I think SGA is a major reason why they've been more successful but they've also built a good coaching staff and have executed their roster building through the draft (a bunch of players who can handle the ball and have good bball iq).

KPJ has had conduct issues at every level & continues to have issues, hence the reason why his contract is year to year.

 

I think he bettered himself, you are right.

This had to happen to one of the most chaotic teams in the league.

 

Let's be honest
OKC's Rebuild is better because they got SGA in the PG13 trade
and we didn't get (or keep) someone of that caliber in the Harden Trade

IF the Harden Trade had gotten us Tyrese Maxey . . . .
Where would we be?
If they didn't have SGA where would they be?

Not to say that OKC isnt run better than the Rockets because they are....but....OKC did start getting floated some things through the pipeline on "how long is SGA going to deal with this" and suddenly started playing better. I don't think Presti wanted to be play-in contender in the most lucrative draft class since Lebron. But he also didn't want to lose SGA.

 

As long as okc doesn't get jarace walker. them continuing to improve and then lucking out by getting someone like jarace would be basically a dream case scenario come true

 

I dunno, lots of people have done stupid stuff and had great careers....but with social media we hear about them more nowadays.

I don't hold him leaving at halftime against him, he was ruled out for the 2nd half wasn't happy at being singled out in the first half when he had played well, and played hurt, and got frustrated and left.

that's right now. and we know they can go either direction. all they have to do is shutdown sga/giddey. they can very much put themselves in position to get jarace
