jalen got injured and sengun got benched...having a bad coach produces the same result as getting injured!

 

All these things feed off each other though - If the Rockets had better young players that actually fit and complemented each other, and actual competition rather than guys who inherited their position by default -> we'd say they were better cosched.

like if they weren't among the very worst unguarded 3 or at-the-rim shooting teams around it would look a lot smoother, or if the nominal lead guards did something other than constantly stopping the ball.

Like does anyone think the Magic are well coached? Or are their players much better fitting - Paolo has lots of tall long arned guys behind him, Wagner doesn't need to dominate the ball to score his 19 ppg, Suggs the bust can be sent to the bench replaced by Fultz, Anthony etc

 

I was hoping that Silas would be able to make it to the end of the season (getting us a high pick). However, it's obvious that the team has quit on him and continuing to let the Silas Circus run is damaging the players we do have.

Silas has to go even if we improve our record with a new coach. Pretty sure it will only be a slight improvement because of the trainwreck Silas has left behind.

We also beat them last year. The thing is Rockets is in breaking point. Collapse does not happen immediately but it is wholly happening before our eyes.Players don't care. Jgreen does not mind to miss shots, Tate considers himself a maestro, Alp does not assist, fans (especially you) don't care about winning, Stone talks without saying anything meaningful, Silas is the most hated guy in basketball world, Rockets media is a laugh,...

Success&failure are contagious. There are only three and a half players in roster having winning mentality (Alp,Bari,Tari,Garuba). Others don't care. We suddenly start to see unknown faces (Kaminsky, Days, Nix look-a-like). If losing by 20 is not enough, these new faces make sure that difference will be 40.

If Silver wants to punish Rockets for deliberate tanking he will prevent Rox to get top 2 picks. Otherwise all other failing NBA teams will try to tank 3-4 consecutive years in the future to collect 3-4 top picks.

 

One of the reason is Tate behaves as if he is new head honcho. December-January format was early scoring from Alp. He was scoring 8 in the Q1, 14 in the half and 18 in total. He scores 2 in Q1s now.

Anyway, the missing thing is not his scoring but drop in his assist numbers.We are going back to Square 1, JGreen can't score, Alp does not assist&whines, Bari can't grab rebounds, no real PG, no proper vet, no HC, sleepy L.Hollins, strange comments&irrelevant memories from R.Hollins, useless explanations from stone as if he is a politician,..

 

You don't know the plan for next year? Seriously? Come on man. The plan is simple. All they have to do is "Flip the switch". All the pieces are in place. The switch just has to be flipped. Now where this switch is located or what the **** it controls I have no idea, but there is a switch man. Flip it!
