What is this statement?!? Since when has there been any consistency in Stephen Silas' rotations? He's been experimenting all year! And then he has a whine about having a group on the court that hadn't played together before, when he was the one who decided to empty his bench in the third quarter!

Even without Tate and Jalen he could have put together a combo of players that should have some familiarity by now. If you're going to experiment, why not try Tyty, JC, Tari, Bari and Sengun for a bit?? Silas just saw the score and went to the end of his bench like he was on autopilot.

Come on Stone, enough is enough. Get this man out of here!

Honestly I'm impressed he knows the full names of all the players. Give this man an extension!

I mean, it’s a tough adjustment @WestendMassive . How can you adapt when you have been playing moonshine and Fernando, then you look down the bench, and they are no longer there?

69 2 "The City That Never Sleeps" John Behring Kevin Wade October 4, 2013 402 11.37[6]
Danny is shadowed by Hollywood action film star Russell Burke (Marc Blucas), who is trying to learn about NYPD detective work for an upcoming movie role. Danny also has to protect the actor's secret when Burke gets knifed in the city late at night. Frank begins making random visits to officers' beats and precinct houses as a way to get closer to his patrols, and learns that a precinct lieutenant nearing his retirement has been a consistent no-show at work. However, the lieutenant has a good reason; his wife is on her deathbed suffering from ALS, and he has been working another job so he could pay her medical bills and stay home with her more often. Elsewhere, Jamie and Eddie are frustrated by having to respond to multiple calls from a woman (Ali Wentworth), who complains that a male tenant in a building across her street frequently exercises with no clothes on and his blinds open. Having had enough after a while, Jamie brings the man into her apartment, and the two have drinks, to his and Eddie's shock and amusement.

I was laughing throughout the game tonight, wr3cked embarrassingly hard

Sengun gets outplayed by late 2nd, give up 130 points, lost on D, bricking layups, bricking free throws, Rockets looked like Sasha Gray all night

Something I kept thinking about is how Clutch has said multiple times that the Rockets don’t plan on being bad next season… the organization better have a trick up it’s sleeve to invent a completely new roster, our starting 5 is a weak bench unit on a .500 roster

58 games in and man still needs to figure out his rotations. Sure head honcho and green are out but what has he been doing

What do you actually expect him to say at these press conferences?

The truth is rotations and coaching can't solve the fact these players aren't good and don't fit together.

It's just true. Too bad the coaches can't say that.

Now that Green is out, Silas can blame injury for the rest of the season.

Gotta stop stating opinions like they are facts. We don't know how much better our players would look with an actual coach.

Sure, you can pretend that's true. We don't know that you're not going to quantum tunnel through to the Earth's molten iron core tomorrow at 8 pm too.

However the probability of that is low, just like the probability that these losers who can't shoot, don't pass, and don't defend just need a new guy with q clipboard making them run some wind sprints are going to change dramatically.

The fact is coaching changes alone rarely matter to a scale that's needed to make this team relevant.

They just don't - they never really have historically. It's the players.

I know they require post game media sessions with head coaches… but they really should make an exception for Silas. He knows this isn’t going to work (him as head coach), he knows he has done a bad job and the players are largely clueless… and it literally get worse and worse… Silas is running out of excuses to describe or justify the hot sewage known as the 2022-2023 Houston Rockets.

Amazingly, the West is weaker yet the Rockets have managed to be worse than last year or the year before… which is amazing.

    Silas is dead man walking.

With younger teams coaching usually takes time, there is incremental improvement. If the Rockets had been well coached the last two years, then it would make a difference… but after several years of terrible habits and poor coaching, this team isn’t going to suddenly be 20 wins better… not over night.

a good coach matters, folks been spoiled for so long watching harden play w/o really needing a coach to teach him how to play the game that they really downplay the major influence a good coach has on developing players.
