Harden was toying with two of the best wing defenders in the nba In Bridge’s and DFS….. His burst looked like it was great even though it was a back to back.

Also he is now vindicated about te toxic mess that was Kyrie

From the NY Daily News article :

“I didn’t just ask to leave for no reason. I was in a really good place in Houston. Obviously, we didn’t have a chance to win the championship, but I was comfortable,” he said. “So for me to up and leave my family and all the things that I created there to Brooklyn for, what a year and a half? To just up and leave? It was for a real reason, but I’m happy for the organization in what they got back. They got some really good pieces.”

Playing the floor general role for the Brooklyn superteam was still by far his best shot at winning, oh well. I get that **** was probably crazy behind the scenes but he really could've waited things out last year at least.

But I don't buy the idea that he was totally innocent, given his track record of divorces. Thing about James is that if you're not 100% with him then he's done with you. We saw it with CP3, Saw it with Kyrie, saw it with Dwight. Maybe something happened in his childhood to shape him this way. And there's no doubt to me that he'll eventually divorce Embiid at some point.

Because Dwight has no history of wearing out his welcome( Orlando and Atlanta and the lakers) . There was a piece about the fact the Atlanta players throw a party after he went to charlotte..

Kyrie divorced Lebron, Screed the Celtics who ironically looked better without him and is now hated in his hometown town Brooklyn.

Chris Paul is still disliked by former clippers players.

Harden wants to have fun playing basketball? He'd been with Gordon for too long. :D

    It doesn't excuse anything 100%.

It was chalked up as foresight now but at the time he was desperate for the Finals.

We wait and see what happens to the Sixers, Nets and Rockets in this decade.

Brooklyn was still the favorites for the title at the time. He went to a team that may have had a better record but they sure as hell didn’t have as good of a title chance as the Brooklyn super team.

He left because he was unhappy, understandable, but basketball wise it was dumb. He needs a title for his legacy. You don’t leave that situation until it’s done for good.

Wasn't Kyrie unable/unwilling to play at the time?

While I won't 100% justify how Harden left Houston. ..... I must say the handling of the Ego situation (stringing him along for like a year it seems) doesn't make Stone look great.

Rumor mill had us having much better options to trade Ego that we just didn't pull the trigger on waiting for more......had Harden been patient with Stone....he may have simply left in free agency. While Stone was waiting for the perfect deal.

He's managed to turn the mid range into a 1.10 points per attempt.

hes back but he still not getting those fouls called for him or he’d be averaging 25/11 instead of 21/11

Honestly, this Philly team and offense is limiting Harden's production.

He's healthy, breaking down defenses at will...and yet Doc Rivers wants to dump the ball to Embiid every single possession.
