What gives you most reason for optimism as a Rockets fan (Feb. 2023)?

What gives you hope?

  1. Sengun is a pleasure to watch and can be our foundational piece, our franchise player

  2. Green has the potential to become the leading scorer in the NBA

  3. Jabari will figure it out and will become as good as Robert Horry (Big Shot Bob)

  4. We will have a much better coach and coaching staff next year

  5. We will get lucky and will draft Wemby or Scoot

  6. Harden will come back and will help lead us to the promised land

  7. For @Williamson: Josh Christopher will become the next Kobe

  8. Tari will become the best hustle player in the NBA,

  9. TyTy will be the answer at PG - his floater is unstoppable

  10. KMJ will dunk on anyone in his way

    For me, it’s not Wemby or Scoot. I’m all about Wemby and how much he’ll help us on both sides of the ball. Don’t care to have another athletic, bad defender at guard

    Totally this.... no one seems to grasp how even GSW had to go through years of anguish and headaches before Myers and Co. were lucky enough to stumble on a cheap contract due to Steph's blown out ankles, Klay actually turning into more than just a Kyle Korver redux, and lucking up on Draymond in the second round, for their dynasty to actually start panning out.

    Young stars on cheap second contracts are hard to find and with cap flexibility they could go after athletic vets like Andre Igoudala and eventually another star like Kevin Durant.

    But again all that took years of misery prior to... this board full of 40+ year olds that couldn't even sniff a Bari, Jalen, or Sengun jockstrap as athletes have so much to say about a bunch of teens playing among grown men. Shoot even Kobe and Tracy had their difficulties adjusting to the NBA and they turned out to be natural superstars.

    No patience here at all, that's the problem so good luck with that sh**.
