15 HC interviews for Bienemy and he's been passed on each time. Ravens have now passed on him as OC. Commanders still a possibility for OC. Maybe it's him?
I think the idea is that he'll never get any credit in KC as long as Reid and Mahomes are there, so if he wants a HC opportunity, he needs to prove himself elsewhere. I'm not sure I buy the logic, really. It doesn't seem like his OC skills are the primary impediment to him getting a job, but who knows. He may not be calling the plays, but he's certainly helping design them and develop gameplans; and as a HC, there's a good chance he wouldn't be calling plays on gameday anyway. That said, he's hit a ceiling and already won several rings, so why not try another route, I guess? I'd also be curious about KC and Reid's longer-term retirement plans and what they are thinking from there. They are in the best position to know whether Bienemy would be a good successor there.
I think Andy Reid is going to retire soon and its become evident that Matt Nagy and not Bienemy will the the successor
No. Its hating when the guy is looking to get another OC job and you haters keep bringing up old sh**.
what hating? He’s looking to leave kc because he is trying to find a way to prove himself so he can be a head coach. He’s clearly not a head coach in waiting in KC. But there’s also no reason to think Reid is retiring soon.
I don't know what happened in Chicago but I know Pat Mahomes loves Nagy and while Bienemy is doing the rounds for an oc job, Nagy ain't interviewing for ****
The old **** about him not becoming a head coach after so many attempts. I think its good that he's looking to take that chance.
I think you're confusing me with someone else, I've only been posting tweets when he interviews because I hope he gets a job. I'm not a fan of media narratives, I'm tired of hearing the same thing every coaching cycle and I want to see if he's got it
Andy Reid has coached now for 23 years. He never won a single Super Bowl until he got Mahomes. I'd say Mahomes is already carrying him.
