"I'll take, 'Things that should get you fired' for $200, Alex". This is getting ridiculous.

May be true, but so was Alpi, and he did well anyway. Not as well as he could with the right coach, but...pretty much everyone on the team was set up for failure...even KPJ, because he would have needed more structure for his own good as well.

I'm numb to Silas's stupidity at this point....

I just do not understand why Stone hasn't fired him yet. Dude needs to sack up and end this already.

No 19 year old has any plays ran for them. Just wait till he turns 20.

I attribute that to being that Sengun has been hone through playing with grown a$$ men in his league which explains y silas incompetence affects him the least.

A good coach goes a long way in the development of everybody on this team. no doubt.

    Why, you ask?
Because it’s part of his grand scheme

I can’t believe you guys think we would run plays for someone who was a contender for the first pick in the draft. How could we work our armor plan like that?

Great post @DaBeard . It was thought provoking. I did not know if I should like it for being informative, or not like it for what was quoted.

Jabari 30 for 30 rookie season usage incoming.

Sengun's skillset doesn't rely as heavily on a setup. He can create his own show and make his own opportunities. Smith is currently limited by average NBA athleticism and below average ball handling. He should be able to rise up and shoot over damn near anyone but it hasn't worked out so far. He needs gravity players around him and some kind of scheme more than Sengun does.

Hopefully a new coach will allow Jabari to be more involved and not feel like he wants out.

not absurd ...he making excuses for jabari 'who is uber talented but his only fault is there are no plays run for him'...but next year with full training camp and blah blah blah

I'm glad silas outright admit something so stupid and obvious, now the anti smith folks can't ignore what folks been pointing out. We literally been doing nothing to make life easier for our rookie which contributes to his struggles.

just remember that blockhead Stone hired Silas while still trying to convince Harden to stay

and that’s who y’all trust to steer us through this rebuild…

    LOL

Is that why he misses so many wide open shots that are simply generated by the flow of the offense?

I mean why would you bother to run plays for a guy shooting .295 from 3 when 60% of those shots are wide open and he bricks them.

You run plays for the guy who earned them .... Jabari hasn't.
